The place is very nice. Good view from "Pico" and the restaurant is made of wood, very clean and well designed. There are kids menu. Food is detailed, very good taste and well prepared. Some local ingredients from Brazilian NE and local. Local waiters do their best. I've tried some "risoto" that was outstanding. Recommend for families or couples.

We made it to all of the recommended restaurants in FdN and this was one of, if not the, best. I think it may depend on what you order, but the ceviche is the best I've ever had and the island grilled fish was phenomena as was the petit gateau. The island is so remote and has so little water... More

I was really looking forward to eating here based on all of the great reviews but we were very disappointed...the food was just average. We shared a burger and a salad...the salad was fine..nothing special but the burger was one of the worst burgers I've ever eaten. There is a little side of the road burger stand next to Santander... I think Teju-açu and Tribojou are the best restaurants of the island. You pay as much as in other places and get much more sophisticated food and environment.

We had 2 lunches and 1 dinner in this restaurant and with 10 people we managed to go through most of the menu. All was good and some dishes spactacular; try the chocolate variations for example. It was clearly the best restaurants we visited on the island and also one of the best during our trip to Brazil.

The seafood and meat dishes were very well done and the atmosphere were very nice! Good service and very good cost benefit!

Even if you are not a guest of this wonderful eco-lodge recommended by National Geographic you can have your lunch or dinner here but be aware that maybe the food quality will not match the architecture design of the whole lodge.

I had a risotto there. It was ok. Service wasn't good. There were grains of rice and pieces of onions on my table. The waitress 'cleaned' the table, but not well enough, leaving other people's left overs there. She didn't clean the rice and onions until I asked her to. The restaurant is nice, but you don't feel like you... More

Teju is a local Island (non.!endemic) lizard, and TWO specimen can be seen here; restaurant do NOT expect miracles but most likely best on Island, nice location but NO Beach.!!
