Wine too expensive

Excellent food and fair prices in general but the wine is too expensive (national wine, by the way) ------------------

The Pousada Maravilha may be the best on the island but the restaurant certainly doesn't live up to it's reputation. Probably the most expensive restaurant on the island, the food is below any quality standard. We were three people and we got spoiled vegetables, old undefined fish that was overcooked, green beans (that were actually black eyed peas) that were... More

We showed up for lunch with no reservation and were seated outside overlooking Baia do Sueste. The juice was very likely the best we had in two weeks in Brazil, which is saying a lot. The appetizer of tapioca wasn't great, but the fish (peixe com capim santo) was unbelievable. I would go there again just for that. This single... More

We didn't actually stay at the pousada, but rather stopped there for lunch and separately for dinner. We recommend just going there for the view one afternoon for lunch. The food was okay and many of the items on the already small menu weren't available.

Unless you are staying at the pousada don't waste your time trying to eat there. Yes! The food it good. Yes! Prices are reasonable for Noronha. Yes! The view is beautiful. But they won't respect you and treat you with decency unless you are a guest. For 4 times I tried to eat there. They receptionists always recommended we came... More

We have very much appreciated our dinner at Maravilha restaurant. Although the size of the appetizer was not special, the taste was incredible. The main course (fish with green beans -- peixe com feijão verde) was superb. And the dessert, Romeu e Julieta, was perfect. But the impressive aspect about that place is the environment and the view. It is... More
