Excellent!

The restaurant is a small place a block from the main square. The owner was very nice and went above and beyond for our dinner. My husband had the fish fillet a la diabla and he warned him about three times that it would be very spicy. We do eat spicy though and after he had finished the plate... read more

Next to viva Zapata this place is very good. Lots of deals for the budget traveller. Had the ceviche and it was some of the best I have had and a large portion. If Louise was here she could have practised her Spanish.

This is a little restaurant near the city center (1 block away), the food is great, the beverages are natural and the overall experience excellent! This is a must if you want to try local cuisine and meet nice locals (the owners)!

We loved our meal at Miriam's, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. We at the empanadas for 50 pesos which has to be the best value on the island? We had cheese, chorizo and chicken and this was served with rice. We were also given free chips and dip while we waited. Beer was plentiful and cold... More

Unfortunately we didn't eat here as they were closed for food however their fresh juices were so good. For 25 pesos we got some unique juices. You must try the chaya juice.

We didn't actually eat a meal here, but Miriam's sells fresh juice outside the restaurant during the day. Orange Juice, mandarin orange juice, carrot juice, as well as other mixtures. We visited them almost every day for freshly squeezed orange juice, and it was cheap. I think it was like 30-40 pesos for a large (which looked like it could... More

I was in Holbox two weeks and ended up here 6 times...had to keep coming back for more! The fish was incredibly fresh, delicious, and well prepared. The environment is no frills but super friendly, and the owners are so kind. I stuck with fish but had it prepared a variety of ways and enjoyed everything I ordered. When I... More

We went for a casual late lunch to Miriam's during our trip. Food: The food wad wonderful. We had the Chaya empanada, Fish tacos and Pork tacos, and the vegetarian (bean, cheese, pico, and guacamole) nachos (excellent). Everything was fresh, wonderfully flavored and well portioned. The seafood is fresh. Ambiance: A small shack, more like you local taqueria. Clean and... More
