Thoroughly enjoyed this spot that isn't easy to find in a small downtown. Owner of Palapas del Sol suggested it, and she was right. Very attentive knowledgeable staff. Great owners who really rake pride in their business.

This Restaurant is amazing, it's a little magical Italian restaurant attended by its owners, and incredible couple that surprise their customers with a combination of the most incredible food in the city and a warm and kind customer attention. I recommend the pomodoro lobster pasta and the chocolate mousse!!! A must visit for Holbox

We had dinner here and didn't exactly know what to expect. We set out for dinner and decided we would find a place to eat that struck our fancy....that night this was the place. My wife ordered the lobster and said it was the best lobster she had ever had. Perfect texture, perfect flavor. I had a pasta dish which... More

We ate every dinner there every night they were open during our stay. The fresh pasta was excellent every night. My wife loved the fish. Luca has a deft hand with saucing. Waitstaff were attentive and professional. They have a great wine list, too.

We had high hopes of this place based on other reviews. The service was very good and professional. They brought out a celery confit to spread on their complimentary bread, which was creative and delicious. We ordered a bottle of rose which was sort of expensive and horribly sweet. The special arugula salad was fresh and nicely seasoned. But the... More

We have been here twice and always had excellent food. We were always treated very well and the staff was wonderful. A bit more pricey than most, but still excellent. The pasta is the best and seafood also very good.

I live in Mexico and have been to ISLA HOLBOX at least a dozen times over the years. But I had never discovered Restaurant La Guaya is a "can't miss" place to eat when you visit this corner of paradise. Restaurant La Guaya is simply a jewel of a restaurant, easy to find, but sort of hidden away off the... More

It's a must-visit when we go to Holbox. Wonderful Italian-inspired food with local ingredients including lobster, shrimp and fish. Recommend the lobster ravioli and the bruschetta with bottarga. Great service and good wines by the glass.

We didn't get the full experience the night we were here as the power was out...but that didn't stop them from serving everyone to the best of their ability with big flashlights! I had a delicious seafood pasta that was light. Felt cozy and romantic. A little more expensive than some of the other nearby places.
