Just off the southwest corner of the main plaza sits a brightly painted wooden building that you'll want to stop by at least once. We sat on a table along the main street under the shadow of the eaves and had a very tasty lunch of chorizo quesadillas and a generous order of ceviche. To wash it all down with,... More

Go there ! Just for the place itself, fully colored, with tropical atmosphere. Arrachera is great, cocktails are wondeful. The octpoussy was a bit chewy but definetely acceptable. Honestly, I liked this place very much.

It fells right at home and the artistic atmosphere of this little restaurant, with a lot of art and history makes the place very special. They make amazing fresh fruit juices and smoothies to live for. Tried the coconut fish fillet, that comes with rice and a side of fresh fruits, and still remember it. Waitress was very friendly and... More

My friend Dona Lolita and her husband Don Marco own and run La Isla and have since 1977 or thereabouts. Yes, I'm a tad prejudiced, but here's the thing: the food is delicious, plentiful and the prices are competitive. The owners are very supportive of live music and the arts so periodically, a local musician, Don Victor, will show up... More

We went to this place for breakfast twice, the attention was incredible, very fast and exactly what we required, we asked special things for our baby and the personal was really helpful. The food was wonderful, the motulenos eggs were fantastic. We really enjoyed this restaurant!

I ordered the chicken enchiladas swiss which comes with a creamy sauce with a hint of lime and melted swiss cheese on top. The cream sauce reminded me of one of the best cream sauces I have ever had in Rome a few years ago. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Stayed in Holbox for a few days, and walk past this restaurant a few time, but never stopped or went in. It was always lively, seems like a place that would be fun to have food at. Then finally, on my last day I had an hour to kill before catching the ferry back, so stopped there for breakfast. Had... More

This is a unique looking restaurant with great interiors full of little details, posters, and items inspired Mexican and Latin America culture. The breakfast is great and quite affordable... Lovely place to start your day.
