We went to Zapata for our first dinner on the island after our transfer company recommended it for seafood. We shared steak and lobster that were so good we returned to the restaurant two more times for stone crab, a shrimp dish and to share the mixed grill on our final night. All the food was killer but that mixed... More

We went to Viva Zapata twice, as our first experience wasn't overly great, so we decided to try it again (using feedback from Trip Advisor) Both times we weren't impressed with the service. The first time we were quickly seated but it took almost 15 minutes for someone to come and get our drink order and they weren't even busy.... More

We went here several times during our visit to Holbox. A few times we just stopped by for drinks and to watch football. We also stopped in for lunch and for dinner. All of the food we had was really good. My only complaint was how slow the service was. Every time it was the same slow service - and... More

Looks busy from.the outside but was quiet inside. We had guacamole as starter (everybody gets nachos with spicy sauce which we did not know) and prawns for dinner. The prawns was very tasty with just enough heat to make the dish even more interesting. We had two Sol's to accompany the food and finished off with two Long Island Iced... More

Well priced and amazing quality, although our appetizer arrived at the same time as our main course, they happily reheated it later on in our meal. Their tropical smoothie 5 stars! I Recommend this place

Has a sports bar feel from the outside. Good if you want to catch a game. Quieter inside. Best shrimp I had on the island.

Great little bar and grill. Had their chicken nachos twice on two separate occasions during our stay, excellent both times!

Definitely go visit, lunchtime or evening. Good solid mexican fare. Always busy and a great atmosphere. Chicken fajitas and guacomole rocked. Simple but delightful.

We were on the island 3 nights and ate here twice, being a "Foodie" that is a compliment because there are certainly some good choices, however the first time was so good we had to go back...the Fish in vegetables...incredible the whole fish very good ...the star of the show for me was the pasta Zapata...INCREDIBLE ...it is a mildly...
