Fun traditional Mexican

Went for breakfast with two kids. Lively decorations, open kitchen with HUGE clay pots of food, nice service and good food with fresh handmade tortillas. Recommended for authentic Mexican experience and ambience.

This restaurant and its sister venue in Cuenavaca have to be among my favorite Mexican restaurants ever. Sooooo good every single time, the large hand-made tortillas and hot sauce are to die for as well as the year-long Chiles en Nogada, which are usually only available Sept-Oct. everything I have tried there is delicious, please try the Lima bean (haba)... This restaurant was recommended by ex-pats and locals (also Tripadvisor), but it was nothing but underwhelming. We ate Chicken with Salsa Verde and Chille Rellano. Both of them are not seasoned well and we couldn't finish is without adding salsa. My friends ate here a day after and they had a similar experience. 3 out of 4 people who ate... More

We have been to Tepoztlán many times and nearly always go back to Los Colorines. The vibrant colors of the restaurant make it really stand out - bright pink, with orange, yellow, green etc decor. There is often a short wait to get a table at peak hours (2-4pm weekends). If you get the choice, there is a particularly nice... More

I love this restaurant. The food was simply excellent, and decor was colorful, and the service was impeccable. It's expensive for the area, but well worth it.

Delicious food with lots of healthy options. We had the best enchiladas with mole sauce we've ever had in our lives! Festive decor and friendly service. Highly recommend!

Restaurant-style Mexican food. Pretty good. The place is decorated with notes from famous people who have visited it.

As you walk in you will notice the great decoration - colorful, very Mexican - a treat for the eyes. you can see the women cooking in the open kitchen in big pottery pots. It is all Mexican food, that is delicious. There are vegetarian options as well. My favorites are the 'sopa de habas', and the stuffed zucchini. After... More

On the way down the main drag is this touristy place with free wifi and decent standard Mexican fare.
