Fun, Colorful Atmosphere

We visited this restaurant in a group - rather than ordering off the menu we had a meal ready for us when we arrived. This consisted of various dishes…all good and fresh. None were especially noteworthy, but I would go back if I visited Topetzlan again, and order off the menu. The restaurant is... read more

Went to this very small historic town in July 2015. This place is in the heart of the city, you can't miss it! It's the big pink building. Food here was amazing and service was great. Only down fall was the annoying gas truck that kept driving by honking it's annoying horn.

This place is beautiful, clean ,and the service is outstanding. A bit pricey but it is well worth it . Delicious food. The decorations are beautiful. Loved the Aztec feeling. Vibrant colors . Truly represents Mexico.

Lovely bright open & airy restaurant perfect for sampling the local specialty dishes. It was rec by a Mexican friend from the city & it was great! Everything served is homemade; from the fresh lemonade to the sauces, salsa & taco's. You can watch the chef making the taco shells in the rear open plan kitchen too! Fresh food &... More

Visited Los Colorines for dinner. The food was ok but only ok. My soup was a bit too salty. I didn't like the service. The waiters were not rude but they were not nice and didn't seem interested. Not impressed.

This restaurant and its sister venue in Cuenavaca have to be among my favorite Mexican restaurants ever. Sooooo good every single time, the large hand-made tortillas and hot sauce are to die for as well as the year-long Chiles en Nogada, which are usually only available Sept-Oct. everything I have tried there is delicious, please try the Lima bean (haba)... This restaurant was recommended by ex-pats and locals (also Tripadvisor), but it was nothing but underwhelming. We ate Chicken with Salsa Verde and Chille Rellano. Both of them are not seasoned well and we couldn't finish is without adding salsa. My friends ate here a day after and they had a similar experience. 3 out of 4 people who ate... More

We have been to Tepoztlán many times and nearly always go back to Los Colorines. The vibrant colors of the restaurant make it really stand out - bright pink, with orange, yellow, green etc decor. There is often a short wait to get a table at peak hours (2-4pm weekends). If you get the choice, there is a particularly nice... More

I love this restaurant. The food was simply excellent, and decor was colorful, and the service was impeccable. It's expensive for the area, but well worth it.

Delicious food with lots of healthy options. We had the best enchiladas with mole sauce we've ever had in our lives! Festive decor and friendly service. Highly recommend!
