Don't judge this book by its cover... The establishment is VERY small offering limited seating, but not only is the service excellent, their Pizzas are FANTASTIC. The shrimp pizza was DIVINE. If you like strong beer, then try the DUVAL..

This is a small place in Frenchtown. It is a good idea to make a reservation as there are about 4 tables plus a bar. The pizza menu is extensive and all are good. The spinach artichoke is good and has a kick to it. If you can't get a reservation, they do offer take out.

The Pie Whole makes the best brick oven pizza and has a wide variety of international brews!! Make reservations though since it is a small establishment. Highly recommend the cheesy bread.

The Pie Whole (TPW), despite its funny name, understands that quality pizza is no laughing matter. After a few unpleasant meals on the island, I was excited to eat at TPW since it had very strong TA reviews. It did not disappoint. They make crusts, sausages, and sauces in house and all of the ingredients are incredibly fresh. In fact,... More

We made a reservation for the bar during our recent stay, as several people had recommended it. The place is tiny, so definitely make a reservation. Our pizza was phenomenal, and salad good as well. The island in general doesn't seem to know how to make good cheesy bread, so I wouldn't recommend that. Our bartender was very friendly and... More

This is nice local place with great pizza. The make everything fresh; pasta, pizza dough, sausage. Since there are only 4 tables and a long bar a reservation is a must. This was one of our favorite meals on the island.

We had dinner here in November, 2014. We had a salad, large pizza and beer. The meal was very good and surpassed our expectations. The salad was fresh and tasty. They have a large selection of pizzas from which to choose. The beer list was incredible. They have beer selections from all over the world, many of which we had... More

If you are looking for great pizza and pasta go to the Pie Whole. The place is very small so call ahead for reservations. If it is only 2 people eat at the bar, service is fabulous. What to order? If you want pasta get the Meat Head. If you want pizza, all are very good. We ordered the pasta,... More

We've gone to The Pie Whole for three straight years. The food is consistently great as is the service and it is reasonably priced. It's essentially a small bar with 5 tables. The pizza is the best we've had outside Italy, and all the pastas are homemade. Many of the islanders have told me it's the best Italian food on... More
