Delicious Food and Great View

This was the best meal of our trip!! All of the seating is outdoor and the view was so beautiful. The waitstaff were friendly and very passionate about the food. Gorgeous restaurant with unbelievable views. Our appetizers were amazing. It's a little tricky to find. Make sure you have reservations!

We ate there last night and to just be totally honest the combination of food and the view of the water from our table with the waves crashing on the rocks made it the most romantic meal we have had. For our appetizer we had the local beets with a goat cheese sauce . Perfect combination of earthy taste with... More

Oceana is a restaurant on the water, hidden away in an old mansion near the port in Charlotte Amalie. We had an amazing meal July 8, 2015 starting with a scallop appetizer and a duck appetizer. My husband had the Mahi Mahi and I had the snapper special which were plated beautifully with exceptional flavor. Service is attentive and not... More

There are many delightful restaurants on St Thomas. Many are quite good though held back by tropical resort expectations. Oceana is fine dinning on par with the mainland. We started with the tomato bisque: a rich soup served over a small base of creme fraiche and garnished a crostini with a taste of brie. Any foodie will love the presentation.... More

WOW! Fresh, delicious, great presentation and excellent service made for an amazing night. Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive but not overzealous. Beautiful peaceful views of the bay. Pricey but worth it if you are looking for great foodie experience with local fare. I had the lobster special and it was perfect. The rest of my party also enjoyed the... More

The food was what one expects at a pretentious fine dining restaurant - lots of presentation and good food, just not much food. It is difficult to find, the neighborhood is rough, and parking is limited. The old building is charming and the service is good, though it seems they just try to hard. I had heard about it, have... Pre-warning: it's pricey but hey, it's totally freaking worth it. This has got to be the best fine dining restaurant on the island. Everything was delicious and worth every penny. Has gorgeous art gallery upstairs and fantastic views of the ocean. Also, ask your server about the history of the building, it used to be the old Russian consulate! I... More
