Great place for a meal on the way to the airport

We were recommended to stop here for a meal before we went to the airport. We were glad we did because our flights were subject to delays. It was friendly and the food was very tasty with a good choice and service was quick. The views are outstanding.

We stopped at Pagua Bay during our tour of the island with Woody's Off the Beaten Track tour. The setting is lovely, overlooking the ocean. I had curried goat tacos- never having eaten goat before I thought I would try it. The curry was really good- just a little bit of spice. Honestly, I would not have realized that I... More

Sadly there are only 5 stars available or I would rate this restaurant even higher. It is worth stopping in for any of your meals. We were fortunate and were staying in the hotel but I would travel from afar to eat here. The service is lovely, the drinks excellent and the food is wonderful. It was very sophisticated and... We loved Pagua Bay! The setting and people are fantastic! We had our wedding reception there and they allowed us to bring in an outside cake, take tons of photos, swim and even played our song for our first dance. The food and rum punch was great! Fresh and huge Caribbean lobster and the Goat Tacos are the best! You... More

We were staying in Dominica at a near by guest house and the owner took us up the road to meet her friends who owned Pagua Bay. We had a brilliant night and ended up staying three more nights, going to the Pagua Bar and Grill for dinners and lunch each day! The setting is great. I really liked the... More

Stopped by on my way from the airport to have lunch. I always look forward to the friendly service here but it was surprisingly absent today. I had to ask for a menu after sitting for several minutes. Then I had to ask for napkins because no cutlery was given to me. Finally I had to walk to the bar... More

Unbelievable steak and burgers in the Caribbean. Also great local island food. You gotta go there just for the food if you're not staying there. Best food I've had in the Islands. Go. You will be pleased!! -Mark

We absolutely love Dominica; the gorgeous landscape, fabulous hiking, friendly Dominicans, crystal clear rivers and incredible views. We have visited twice in past year and look forward to returning. However, we do NOT care for the food. It tends to be repetitive-fish and chicken, chicken and fish. That being said, my husband and I are probably "pickier" than many travelers.... More

Dominica is one of the most beautifully undiscovered islands in the Caribbean, and Pagua Bay Bar & Grill is the best place to eat on the island. The atmosphere, decor, and view of the ocean is a rare find. My meal consisted of their famous fish taco, which was highlighted with freshly squeezed tangerine juice. There has never been a... More
