Lovely place, food and service. Highly recommended, worth a long drive. The service was brilliant and specialist meals made. Good greeting and goodbye from the owner.

Back in Newtown for a visit after many years away and found this gem. My wife and I had two exceptional evening meals during our visit, the final night being our wedding anniversary. The food was cooked to order, was fresh and the presentation very good. The taste was excellent. On both visits the staff were so helpful and obliging.... More

I eat at Gulshan regularly now, after having been many times to every restaurant of this type in the area. I can honestly say that Gulshan is the best, and now the only one I would go to in Newtown. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and provide everything in the way of atmosphere and service. The food is... More

We ordered food and all just had a main course with rice/breads and poppadoms. When the food came out it was... More

I love the Gulshan, i have been visiting there for years for birthday celebrations, anniversary or just a takeaway. I'm never dissapointed, food is always brilliant, staff are very friendly & are always happy to accommodate. It's a lovely restaurant, with lovely music & artwork. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone.

Eight of us visited on the Friday after Christmas and we were all very disappointed. My samosas were of the poorest quality I have ever had, my curry was not spicey for a vindaloo and my nan bread burnt. My friends meals were of the same calibre with the prawn curry having only three prawns and the chicken sag was... More

This review is not based on a one off visit but on several visits throughout the year over the past few years. Birthday, Anniversary and Christmas parties have all been held in the Gulshan for my family and friends and a warm welcoming was received on every occasion. So if you are looking for fantastic hospitality and quality food then... More
