Don't be put off by its location on an industrial estate. This café is spotlessly clean with friendly staff and excellent food at good value prices - cooked while you wait so it reaches you piping hot. So glad that we sought this café out after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. We both opted for the B.E.S.T. breakfast at £6... More

We loved the place ! A cafe in a factory unit, how quirky ! We had a simple fry up and a smoked salmon bagel ! Both were huge portions and the fry up was perfection. Yes a simple menus, yes simple decor but the food on the plate was perfect, staff were friendly, place was clean and the value... More

Great Service, great value food, very clean. Mega/challenge breakfasts available to. Only downside is it is not open on a sunday, but I suppose the very helpful staff do need a break. A must to stop at even if you are not in Porthmadog it is well worth a detour

Lovely cafe, not a greasy spoon despite location. First class food at very good prices. Free beverages - papers to read and spotlessly clean.

We stayed at the Travelodge in Porthmadog so used Breaktimes for breakfast for the three mornings we were there as it was a two minute walk away. Prompt service, spotlessly clean and a large selection of breakfasts from a simple bowl of cereal through to man v food challenges. Unlimited tea and coffee with all breakfasts and a glass of... I've stayed at the near by travelodge a few times and everytime I go we have to have a breakfast! A free glass of orange juice and unlimited coffee with most breakfasts is good enough but the food is amazing! Looking forward to coming back next week x

First class breakfast, great value, brilliant staff. We visit Porthmadog every Easter Saturday/Sunday on our motorbikes and this really is the very best place for breakfast. It sets us up for a day of hard riding and we don't need to eat again until teatime. We can't recommend Breaktimes highly enough, and just to prove the point we'll be there... More

I have used this cafe on numerous occasions and its probably the best place in Porthmadog for a fry-up, if you need only one meal a day then this is the place for you, Its great value for money and the staff are always polite and helpful.
