We eat there two days running and it certainly deserves having its' 5 start food standards agency rating. The meals were very tasty - not cheap but the standard was high. The staff were excellent, friendly and dealt with everyone with the same professionalism. We watched one young man cleaning down a table - everything was verythoroughly cleaned, after each... More

We came here based on the reviews in trip advisor. Fantastic. The food was very good. Everything was cooked to order. The cafe was filled with other people who had seen the reviews too. Well worth it. Go if you are in the area. But it isn't easy to find

Brunch a few of days ago based on the rating here and wasn't disappointed. Staff friendly and polite. Very clean which included the toilets. Went back a couple of days later for a take away lunch which very good value for money and of excellent quality. Will be back.

We decided to pay a visit to Breaktimes Cafe, after discovering its number 1 rating on Trip Advisor! Upon arrival a very pleasant young waiter greeted us. Our first question was whether they provided high chairs (as we had our 15 month old Daughter with us). Straight away he provided a booster seat and ensured this was tied securely onto... More

Literally 5 mins away from where we have stayed. This cafe has surprised me withthe choice of breakfast and size of the breakfast with unlimited tea and coffee included. A full English Breakfast which is what I need to recover from a long walk in Snowdonia. If you have a very big appetize you can definite go for the Hercules... More

If you want a good old fashioned full English breakfast, this is the place to go. It does what it says, good reasonably priced food with excellent service. It does fry ups, basically, but they are not greasy and the drinks are unlimited. You can have croissants or cereal if you want, and that might be next on the list as... More

Just a few minutes walk from the Travelodge where we were staying, this cafe offered inmumerable cooked breakfast options at reasonable prices, with free refills on the drinks too! Very nice. However it would be nice if there were cereal or other options too, as I didn't want a cooked breakfast every day.

This is a place for a fry up, but not even any cereal or porridge to be had. The sausages were horrible, but eggs and bacon ok. I wouldn't be thinking of pain au raisin in a "caff" but but some non-cooked options would be nice. They were friendly, and offered my friend a bowl for the cereal she had... More

Thank you for your review. We do offer a range of breakfast cereal listed on the menu, but agree with you that we are predominately a breakfast Café, that mainly serves a full range of full English breakfasts, as well as a whole range of sandwiches, baps, toasties etc. I don't think it is possible to please all of the... I'm not a usual frequenter of greasy spoons but this sets a different standard and there is nothing greasy about any of the spoons here! It's in an unusual location but if you're staying in the nearby Travelodge, this is the place to come. In fact, this is the place to come for anywhere within a good few miles! I've,... More
