I visited Porthmadog at the end of June with my wife, we stayed at a Travelodge, and we wanted somewhere for breakfast, one of the residents in Travelodge mentioned this place. It was quite complicated to find, but we did it, it's very hidden! But we certainly enjoyed our breakfast! There was a... read more

Visited Breaktimes cafe whilst staying in the area in our campervan having read the other reviews here. We got there just before 8.00 a.m. and there was a already a small number of people waiting to get in. The fact that it is on an industrial estate didn't bother me at all. In fact I think it's a good concept.... More

Thank you for taking time writing your review. I am sorry to read most of it's content, as it seems we have clearly failed on most counts to meet your high expectations. Having looked into however, all of the points raised, I fail to see any areas which need improvement. We are what we are and people will judge us... More

Thank you for your review and for all of your comments regarding our breakfasts. I am sorry if the waiter on the day you visited was not quite up to standard, but we do at present have several young school pupils on work experience with us as we do every year, in order to give them a chance in the... This is a great place for breakfast - I expect the lunches are good too but not tried on this trip. The food is great. Good choice and well cooked. The drinks are included in the price of a breakfast and we were offered refills. The staff were prompt and friendly. The food was cooked fresh and the poached eggs... More

There is a straightforward choice of several meals, according to appetite. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. I was served quickly and offered more drinks as required. The meal is of very high standard; would recommend to all.

I am an indian living in britain, normally indians are quite fussy about our breakfast, we had no choice but to choose Breaktimes Cafe for our breakfast since we were living close-by in Travel lodge.
