Had a sandwich and a drink here, whilst the drink (from the fridge) was lukewarm, the sandwich was really nice. Lots of filling and reasonably priced, staff courteous and place very clean. Sandwich freshly made to order. Place quite small but they do takeout if you can't get a seat. Recommended

If we visit Porthmadog we always try to get a table in Jessie's, the sandwiches are always fantastic, plenty of filling and variety of choices to choose from are fab. Staff are very pleasant and are quick to serve. The only negative comment is we don't always get a table to eat in and have to go elsewhere which is... More

We were a bunch of blokes on an ale and walking trip needing some re-fuelling after a strenuous mountain walk. We went into Porthmadog and could not find a decent place to eat that was not crowded with kids! And then we found this gem! Friendly and efficient staff, high quality, high volume food! Yummy!

Great for fresh sandwiches and baguettes, all freshly prepared while you wait. They normally have a temping selection of cakes too. Great place to fill up your picnic basket, or to eat in with a coffee.

We've been visiting North Wales for many years, mostly staying in Portmadoc. After a break of a couple of years we called back for sandwiches. The owner remembered us. We were pleased to find that the baguettes were still versus large, filled with fresh ingredients, and very good value. If you want a takeaway lunch, this is the place to... More

I ordered a delicious sounding 'Turkey, Cranberry and Stuffing' sandwich on white bread only to be told they had no white bread. I opted for the baguette option instead (which was more expensive). The stuffing has put me off stuffing for life. Soggy and wet, obviously just mixed out of a packet and slopped onto my lunch. Vile. Quality sandwiches,... More

Second year I have frequented this lovely coffee house! Lovely pot of tea with super muffins! The girls are friendly and I would highly recommend this tranquil coffee house!
