Went here for breakfast with the family, most enjoyable. Well cooked and plenty of it. Nice friendly staff. Will call again.

Eaten here twice and the last time we ate here was a bit mixed. The waiter was very relaxed. I asked for potato wedges and he said he wasn't sure if they had wedges cos the delivery had been botched but they had cubes of potatoes if I wanted :/ so obviously the chef doesn't want to peel and cook... From outside, this place does not look that great and directly opposite you have The Sportsman Hotel, which appears to be the most renowned in Porthmadog. However, while you look at the menu there, just turn 180 degrees and give this place a try. The waiter was good, amusing and helpful. As well as the menu, there are specials on... More

Had a meal here with my friend who is a wheelchair user and the staff could not be more helpful. The menu is quite varied and the prices very reasonable.

Large choice on menu possibly a bit over complicated as different menus for different times of day but food and service was excellent all food was cooked to order and kitchen was open so could see cleanliness. Good value for money

Really good range and very well prepared and served. Does family friendly meals before 7.30pm which helps with the cost. Would definitely go again. Closed Tues night though :-(

There are not so many choices for evening meals in Porthmadog and by 8pm this bistro was already ready for closing up. However the food turned out to be good, service from the cheerful waiter efficient and my wife and I were not disappointed. We chose items at the higher end of price range from the day’s menu board and... More

We walked into the grapevine on Sunday lunchtime by chance and were served by lovely friendly staff and enjoyed a really nice meal, well cooked and presented. We returned on Monday evening to find the food excellent.and again really enjoyed the visit. As we were staying at the local travel lodge we retuned to the grapevine for breakfast this morning....
