Good place to eat,

Used this place often, never had any complaint. Good sized portions, well cooked, on a hot plate, staff helpful. I would go again

good family restaurant, especialy recomended to those visiting Wales with children. You can enjoy homemade meals and a wide selection of puddings and ice-cream. Pricewise it's good for what it is. Only thing I can pick on is presentation of food.. so 1970s. But smiles of young waitresses makes it up for it.

Visited here with family, the place is disgusting, the toilets are disgusting, the environmental health need to close it down. The food is terrible, wasn't just our opinion either, couple of locals in their told us they only get a coffee there, they wouldn't eat there. Sit at a table and look up, in the front part by the road,... More

Called in for lunch and we both had steak and ale pie with chips and peas. The food was piping hot with lashings of gravy and to be fair was very tasty. The bistro was practically full when we arrived and we were warned that the food would take about 20 minutes (they weren't far out with that estimate). The... More

OK for a snack, coffee or tea, and the service is good. The menu needs improvement and lacks imagination.

This small cafe offers excellent value breakfasts although the other customers can be noisy (when we were there). They open in the evening sometimes and the style is a bit more up-market then. They are licensed and have a good range of beers and wines.

Most places were closed on Friday night - this was open but fairly quiet. Strange dimly lit ,cluttered ,dated décor ,needs a total revamp. Too many items on the menu and about 8 'specials ' - they can't all be specials can they ?. Service was friendly ,food edible but unappetising. Prices somewhat high for the level of establishment -... More

A very good bistro & restaurant offering a good choice of meals. A friendly and comfortable place with a relaxed atmosphere. Note, this restaurant was closed on Tuesday night (as were most others in the town) so choose another time. Offers good value for money with personable service - would recommend.

We came for breakfast every day, always freshly cooked, limitless coffee and served with a smile. Customers represented a good mix of regulars and tourists, so well loved by all. We stopped for dinner one evening which didn't disappoint, again all freshly cooked with plenty of well cooked vegetables. Well worth a visit.
