Yummy seafood

Lovely fresh seafood. I had fish pie which was something very new for me and it was really good. Nice ambiance.

We ate here two nights during our visit to Tarbert. On our first visit we found making a choice really difficult as there were so many great sounding dishes to choose from. We had fish pie and seafood Tom yum, both of which ere just delightful. On our second visit, we had salt bake bream and hake which were cooked... More

There is no lack of fish restaurants in Tarbert, but this is to be recommended. For starter, don't miss their excellent queen scallops! For main, you can rely on them serving a delicious catch of the day.

Booked because of the reviews on Tripadvisor, and this restaurant lived up to its billing. The staff were friendly and relaxed, the atmosphere good and the seafood excellent. You must eat here if you are in Tarbert A star fish restaurant!

Dinner after a healthy day in the big outdoors(hail, rain and shine today) - whitewashed walls with local original artworks, plain tables, bustling and cheerful. Wide range of seafood specials which must have travelled about 20 yards from the pier. evrything that we had was superb, and although busy, the staff were unflappable and helpful. The Seafood stroganoff was very... More

My wife and I dropped in for lunch on the recommendation of the tourist information shop just round the corner - it was possibly the best seafood meal we had ever had - I think booking would be advisable at busy times, as its reputation will only grow.

This is a casual restaurant with nautical decor that serves very good seafood and appears to be popular with local people. We enjoyed the Cullen Skink soup and Starfish Pie. Warning: portions are large. Browsing the water colours hanging around the room kept us entertained while our food was cooking.

Nothing short of excellent, the Starfish has it all! A really nice little restaurant, décor is clean and pleasant, atmosphere full of laughter and enjoyment. The great idea of having a long blackboard above the bar which lists all the specials of the day, of which there are many! As people arrive they scan the board to see what is... More

Wine is not their strongest point. The restaurant soon became full, so a reservation will be relevant.
