Recommended by our b&b landlady, Starfish is a gem. Cheerful service and excellent seafood in a very pleasantly presented restaurant. Full marks!

The restaurant is immaculate. The service impeccable and the food delicious. The restaurant was recommended by Isabel at The Cullins B&B and it was a recommendation well made. Very, very happy with everything and I recommend to anyone staying in Tarbert, Loch Fyne that wants a superb meal and night out.

Great fish soup, one of the best eaten ever. Great atmosphere and very nice serving lady. Nice painting gallery also.

Fantastic fresh seafood. Wonderful selection. Would not think it would have the same appeal to a vegetarian however.

Good food and wine in a very friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced too. Off a side street from the harbour.

Good range of seafood and what we had was very nice. We ate off specials board - chicken satay and coriander haddock. Staff very friendly and helpful. Children seem welcome but not actively encouraged - although staff were very nice to our two year old I must say.

We had a brilliant experience at the Starfish. Superb food, great atmosphere and a waitress who was second to none. She (I think her name was Brenda) was so attentive and recommended a great sauce to go with my excellent halibut. A totally awesome night out !!
