We arrived just as they were opening and were welcomed to take a seat. Coffee was very hot which was just what we needed on a wet and cold morning. Breakfast was delivered quickly and was delicious. Appearance from outside is not the best as there are cheap orange plastic chairs that give a down market impression. Inside there is... More

Stopped off for lunch - lovely baked potato, good salad with it, good big portion and exactly what I wanted. Nice coffee too, with quick, attentive staff.

Visited with family twice whilst staying locally, looks more like a cafe, nice surprise when we read the menu, quite a good selection! Very reasonably priced, good service and the food was great! You can byob. Also helpful. We didn't, as we didn't know about it, but saw another table bring in their own wine. Our only complaint, and it... More

Sailing is hungry work and we wanted tasty calories. This was the place to get them. We ate here in the early afternoon on two occasions. The fish was fresh, the batter crisp, tasty and the chips were stunning, high quality thrice cooked and chunky. The accompanying salad was plain but fresh and the coffee ground. Service was variable but... More

Just in for a quick bite to eat, no rolls but helped us out with a sandwich and a very small cup of black coffee, ask for it to be filled to the top, busy wee place so a bit of a favourite with the visitors, No complaints except the coffee should been to the top of the cup considering... More

this café has an unbelievable menu which could put a 5 star restaurant to shame. I visited it twice, first time I had the best chicken broth and second time I had baked haddock in the most delicious sauce served with perfect chips. I was sadly unable to have a third visit because it was too busy!

Been here lots. Always go when in Tarbert. Lovely food. Great staff. You get a really good skinful for the price and its good. I once took a coach load of children there for an icecream and although we asked them for 30 icecreams they were really helpful and obliged. loads of choice.

We had dinner at the Cafe resttaurant as we were on the way to the excellent West Loch Shores log cabin site nearby. They make super homemade pizza and scampi type food, with a full menu and drinks. The cafe has been on the from since I was a lad in the 50s and is now a bit more a... More

We went to the Ca Dora Cafe yesterday evening. We were met by a very pleasant waitress and were seated quickly. The service was good. The menu lets you know that the food is freshly prepared and you will have a short wait for it to arrive at your table. The fish and meat are sourced locally. We had fish... More
