Good fish and chips if you prefer to 'sit in'

We stopped here on route to the ferry terminal to grab some dinner. The weather was too bad to have take away fish & chips as we'd planned so we tried this place as it had a sit in option. The fish was fresh and the batter not overly greasy. The chip portion was massive for me but I'm not... read more

You literally step-down into this establishment. On our visit it was well patronised by locals with but few visitors. The food and drinks were welcome, but we thought the standards were fairly common-place,

This is a good little restaurant. Unusual dishes, including veggie choices, served piping hot. Service friendly, no frills. Reasonable prices. Good food, good value. Note previous reviewer said it was used by locals, and certainly our impression while we were there. Does takeaways as well.

Cafe was spotlessly clean. Really small place but constant flow of customers. Nice food - nothing fancy - but does the job for lunch. Not much choice otherwise in Tarbert so would recommend eating here. Does paninis etc, which were all fresh.

Good fare, location at the harbour so very handy with nice views. Variety of food and appropriate for vegetarians.

Had lunch here on day trip to Tarbert. We decided to eat here because we could see that it was the busiest place in Town. The service was quick and very friendly. I had the homemade soup, which was delilcious and we both had the Fish and Chips, which was excellent and there was lots of it. During the hour... More

In the area on holiday and popped into the café for some lunch (3 adults, 3 kids). Got seated together even through café was busy. Ordered food and drinks - all good but service a bit slow and one server in particular was extremely frosty and disinterested (had a foreign accent). Food good and assume as café was busy it... Had a quick lunch, service prompt, friendly and efficient. The coffee was particularly good. The café is situated directly across from the harbour so has interesting views
