Dropped in on a dreich day in Tarbert. Warm pleasant and comfortable with friendly staff. Typical modern cafe menu but with some interesting twists. Food was good and good value too. Recommend.

I usually enjoy a bacon and chip roll with coffee but occasionally have a cheese burger with fries. There is always something with a sea-food theme on the menu and as a pizza conesuer I will be trying on of them next time. Visiting two or three times a month as I pass through Tarbert, I have nothing but praise... More

Nice little cafe that's worth a look. We called on a rainy Saturday afternoon for snacks and coffee. The food and drinks were fair but the service was rude, and disinterested. Monosyllabic staff with no eye contact let alone any kind of greeting, welcome or smile. When we arrived I thought it was just us but I saw a similarly... More

Nice selection of snacks. Always freshly cooked and served by pleasant staff. Good value for money. Typical cafe but none the worse for that.

Had lunch at this small cafe on the waterfront and had a tasty paninni with an Irn Bru. The service was OK but the waitresses made it seem more like a college hangout than a full-service restaurant. We returned again this summer for coffee and a snack and it still feels more like a local hang-out. While the food is... More

We stopped for a drink on our way from Edinburgh to Macniharish. I had tea and a scone and my husband has a hot chocolate and a scone. The drinks were lovely and scones were nice, although I have tasted nicer home bakes. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. A nice wee place!

We live in Tarbert and eat here frequently (as do many of the locals). The kids love the ice cream (made on the premises) and the luxury hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream. The local seafood is especially good (I really like the 'big fish' which is a freshly battered fish fillet served in a ciabatta with home made... More

A pleasant wee cafe, bright and comfortable ( if you disregard the screeching noise every time someone moves a chair!) in general the food is cafe fare and nothing else but with a particularly nice fish tea, the coffee is average to ok depending who serves you there seems to be no trained staff unless you go after 5.00 in the... We ended up in here having been stranded in tarbert on a very rainy evening in November. Service was not great, as previously mentioned, teenagers running the front of house. We were not greeted on arrival, tables not been wiped, had to go and find menus and ask for a drinks order to be taken. Both had pizza...shop bought based... More
