Nice little spot for drinks/bite to eat

Nice selection of cakes to go with our coffees, and enjoyed while looking out onto Tarbert Harbour. Friendly staff.

Cafe visited, had lunch and later coffee. It was a lovely visit and good food, real mix of people in the cafe, locals, tourists, builders, families, cyclists but all welcomed with a cheery smile

Stopped in here again on another visit to Tarbert. Good food, good portion sizes, efficient service and good value especially after having felt ripped off in both Inverary and Lochgilphead earlier in the week. Only criticism is that one of the hard working Saturday waitresses needs to cheer up a bit as she never managed to smile at anyone during... More

Great Fish and Chips. Very friendly service. It looked a bit run down and one if the letters on it's name board had obviously drooped off but it was very busy, so we guessed it must be OK, and we were not disappointed. We had two dogs and we were able to sit outside on a good day days thoroughly... More

We ate here one evening and had fish and chips. It was exactly what it says on the tin! The staff were polite enough, but no smiles to be seen! We went in during the day for coffee, which was ok. Not amazing but properly made!

I went to the cafe on a Sunday afternoon while visiting Tarbert for the music festival. Place was busy so thought that was a good sign. Ordered milkshakes which were very nice (and helped cure my boyfriends hangover!). I ordered the Ca Dora sandwich which was lovely, I highly recommend it. I also ordered the special fries, they were very... More

For more years than I care to count, this is the cafe of choice for our family when we visit Tarbert. Usually for breakfast - by which I mean full Scottish breakfast. We have never been disappointed. Recently on our latest visit the cafe has been redecorated and overhauled. Fortunately the breakfast choice is unchanged - the magic combination of... More

We only had a cuppa here on our way down to campbeltown, but wow the food that was being served around us looked amazing and big portions. The prices were really reasonable. and not just the normal sandwich they did hot meals like scampi and haggis and lasagne. they serve food through the day then change the menu at night... More
