On entering the restaurant I was very impressed by the design of the interior and the lovely and unique design of the furniture. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed good service. Tarbert is renowned for its fish and sea food and we certainly enjoyed the starter of scallops with bacon which was delicious. We followed this with a main... More

Dined here recently as a family. Picked it as the chalkboard outside stated seafood and fresh pizzas so would keep parents and children happy. Décor is lovely and fresh, just what you want to see in a seaside bistro. Service was great despite it being a one woman show and she also checked in guests as this was a bistro... More

A great little bistro with an attention to detail. The food was great, really what more do you need to know.

We had dinner here and both really enjoyed it! Neither of us are big seafood fans (I know - a total shame), so we had soup (with their homemade ciabatta - wow!!), bruschetta and pizzas. Everything was so, so good! Definitely give this place a try.

We went for a meal & were not disappointed. We both had seafood for our starter & main but there was plenty of choice. It was well priced & sizeable portions. It is a lovely family run bistro with a great atmosphere.

We decided to eat out on our last night in Scotland and chose Scott's and were not disappointed! Fantastic restaurant, amazing food (pizza lovers should try the seafood pizza) and you get the sense of a family run restaurant from the the moment you walk in the door! Would visit again.

We dined here on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was almost full. I started with smoked mackerel pate and my wife with roast tomato soup and both were delicious. We both had halibut for main course and it was a beautiful piece of fish cooked to perfection. My sister-in-law had a pepperoni pizza which also was delicious. Desserts of... More

My wife and I have just recently returned from a stay on Kintyre. We are very familiar with the area. Eating out can be a little difficult but you will not be disappointed with Scott's. The restaurant is situated on the pretty harbour front of Tarbert, Loch Fyne. The food is fresh and very well prepared. The restaurant is clean... More

We had three dinners at Scotts during our recent four days visit to Tarbert - which rather sums it up! It is a small restaurant so I would recommend booking. The meals (mainly fish based) were wonderful and the service friendly and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful area of Scotland. Our best... More

Had another excellent meal at Scotts. The food is fresh and tasty, with strong sea food influences. Nothing seems too much trouble and when possible dishes are tweaked to suit individuals preferences. Note that this is not fast food, but good quality fresh food, so the food doesn't arrive instantly. The service can be a little slow, but worth the... More
