I have been eating here for several years and have always found the food and service to be good, A little pricier than some but the quality of the meal makes up for this. Parking can be a problem as Hagley High Street does get busy at times.

We've eaten in the Shenapur for a few years. The food is consistently good, old school, not that much variation between dishes but always tasty. Service always good. Decor could be warmer. Pricey in my opinion, but happy to pay the price to support my local.

This is a nice little Indian on the high street, with lovely decor inside. The staff are quite friendly, although may seem quite intimidating at first. Nevertheless, the food came out quite efficiently, alongside a retro cooker on the table. The drinks took a while, but worth the wait as the beer was great, however wouldn't go as far to... More

Had been a while since Ive had the chance to visit Shenapur, but as always I met with great food and service. After i'd finished my meal I decided to order a Chicken Sagwalla and a Nan back for some of my family. True to say they enjoyed it just as much as me!

Food is personal thing. I have eaten takeaways and dined in here since it opened. I have tried many local alternatives. The quality of the ingredients keeps this top of the pile, and a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for when it comes to ingredients and as long as they keep up the standard, this will... Visited on a Saturday night with friends having read good reviews and have tried many other Indian restaurants in the area. Initial impression on entering the restaurant was good. It has nice decor and was quite busy. Initial service on drinks was quite slow and it also took a while for someone to take the food order. However, the food... More

We happened upon this restaurant last March and as we were in the area again I found it on the web and booked a table. The décor is lovely and the staff friendly and attentive. We ordered the very reasonably priced house red and started with poppadoms , the pickles were very good, the lime pickle was perfect, the lime... More

This place has been quiet for a number of months now and it was very quiet when 8 of us visited on a Saturday evening. Service was very good but there were plenty of staff there for just three tables. Portions sizes were excellent and the starters prompt, hot and tasty. I was personally very disappointed with my Pasanda -... More

This is our local Indian restaurant and have used it for many years. Mainly for takeaways, which can be varied in their quality - from excellent to just 'OK' and are certainly more expensive than in Lye/Oldswinford - but it is easy to get to, quick service and just handier for us - therefore the additional expense is expected. Decided... More

The service is good and the restaraunt is nicely furnished, the food I don't think it is as good as it used to be, the quantitys are large but I thought the rice was over cooked and the food was slightly bland. It isn't cheap and closed early so it isn't a late night eating place for after the pubs... More
