Went for Sunday lunch at the bell today, booked a table and we were taken straight through on arrival. All had Sunday lunch apart from our two children one of whom had sausage and mash and the other fishfingers. The roasts were quite nice and quite a large portion, nothing to rave about though. The kids meals were the problem... More

The pub was busy and this may have been the cause of the below review. 1. The service was very slow. Sat at 1pm desert menu offered at 3pm! 2. The restaurant was so very hot uncomfortably so. 3. The waitress handed one of our guests a plate she had a napkin guest didn't, result? Burnt hand! 4. A drink... More

Sorry guys but well disappointed with the meal on the night , my meal was ribeye steak with twice cooked chips! . The steak was ok. The chips was burnt and the salad was awful all for £ 20 I would have expected better , be a long time before we are back again ...

5 of us went for Sunday lunch. We have been to the Bell before and we have enjoyed it. The food was good as always, good Sunday roast with ample vegetables, however, the service wasn't great. We were left waiting for quite some time and had to ask for our order to be taken, we then waited a long time... More

I went to lunch at the Bell today and was really disappointed in the meal. The ambiance was good - a bright wood fire and warm radiator, a view out of the window on a bright but very cold day.- all looked good until the food arrived. I had ordered fish finger sandwich with salad and was told it was... More

Having been to the bell a few times before and enjoyed the food we decided to celebrate with our family for New Years Eve and must say how disappointed we all were. There were 6 of us and 3 had Belly of Pork as a starter which consisted of all fat and undercooked. The others had pate which came with... More

The 3 of us dined at The Bell at Belbroughton last night as part of a belated Christmas celebration. I had the smoked salmon with beetroot and creme fraiche to start which was beautiful. Following this I had the pork belly and scallops which again was very well presented and tasted lovely. For dessert I ordered the tarted aux pomme... More

Ate here on Christmas Eve. We had booked a table for 5pm & the place wasn't particularly busy. Our starters arrived quite quickly: sticky duck salad & Szechaun squid - duck was so crispy it was more burnt than crisp but the squid was cooked OK. After the prompt arrival of the starters service became much slower. Eventually the mains... More

We have visited the Bell on many occasions and for the last 3 years, ourselves and our friends have had a Christmas meal there during the week before Christmas. This time I was a little underwhelmed and I certainly didn't enjoy the Festive Fayre as much as I previously have. I had the starter of chicken liver parfait, served with... More

We are local to this pub in Romsley so are bitterly disappointed that the quality and value of the food have reached rock bottom. Tonight (Sunday 21st Dec)the roast was served luke warm and the whole meal appeared to have been warmed up,one of our party had what was called "Large Ling Choz"which was spaghetti containing 6 prawns + 2...
