We booked for a Sunday lunch. Arrived a little early and were met by friendly staff. We had drinks at the bar and were then shown to our table and were given menus. Our order was taken and after about 10 minutes our starters arrived, these were very nice. In the meantime two other couples had arrived and were seated... More

Stopped at The Bell with husband and parents and was lucky enough to be able to sit outside. Food was excellent and we all had no room for puddings. I had the salmon and two of the others the lamb shank. All cooked to perfection. Definitely will be going back.

Nice location and building, welcoming staff. Bits in our drinks (not sure what they were) The food was wrong when it came out. Sent it back and came out right. Was double charged after paying by debit card. Not a very good first impression - will not be returning.

Decided to visit for a birthday lunch for my wife, having eaten here on an evening on a number of occasions. The quality was again excellent with prompt friendly service.

Just back from lunch with daughter, son in law, his parents and the wife. And I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've had. The Bell restaurant has a nice atmosphere, quiet private no other dinners too close to you. Our waitress was very nice, informative without being pushy. The service came just at the right... More

Visited for an anniversary dinner - I had been before and have previously thought the food was very good. Last night was a real disappointment! We had booked a table but when we were shown to it there was no much room. There were only about 3 other tables occupied and we ask if we could move. We were told... More

Visited The Bell at lunch time with family. The restaurant areas were very dark and the table we were shown to was grubby. The service was very slow and we had to ask for our plates to be removed in order to get our main meal. The battered fish was tasteless and had obviously been frozen and not fresh. The chips were...
