We went ate an evening meal at this pub on Sat night. The staff were extremely friendly, the menu was extensive, and there was a decent children's menu too. All of us enjoyed delicious pies/steaks/bacon/chicken nuggets! It was so good that we booked for Sunday lunch the following day and that didn't disappoint either. Would highly recommend.

Went for lunch on a weekday. Found very friendly staff, great selection of beers, and a very welcoming atmosphere. The menu was very varied, from sandwiches and standard pub meals to some more interesting choices. I had the duck breast which was really well cooked, with a delicious sauce, but it was let down a little by the bland standard... More

We went to this pub today and even though they were fully booked, they managed to squeeze the 3 of us in for a quick sandwich! The food was great, service even better would definitely go back!

We went there as a group with the in-laws, so four adults and one hungry nine year old. The reception we were given was wonderfully friendly. The food and drink orders were quickly taken and the food choices were brilliant. You have you normal "pub food" but the specials board was great. Two of us had the belly pork, one... More

Since my last review this inn has changed somewhat. Not the food : that remains very good vfm. Nor the drink : still at least six guest beers and three guest ciders. Some are better than others of course. Rather than try them all [and presumably walk home] ask the proprietor which would suit your taste. He does know. A... More

They were having their conservatory decorated so didn't have room for us inside, our fault because we hadn't booked. We ate in the garden though. Excellent size and choice of children's meals and our own meals were wonderful. Service was very quick considering how busy they were and they were very friendly and welcoming. Children's play area is excellent and... More

We eat out a LOT and love the warm welcomes we always get at The Robin Hood. The food is utterly delicious; the ales and ciders are scrumptious and the hosts are genuinely friendly. Lucy cooked our meals tonight and had us in stitches. Check out the ribs (drool) and the steak &stilton pie. The puddings are also to die... More

This place is great - amazing atmosphere and great staff. Lucy, our waitress, has been so attentive and friendly, full of smiles and laughs. The food here is great - I highly recommend the steak and Stilton pie... 👍 top stuff

Hadn't reserved a table and they were busy but welcomed us in for a great roast meal meal. Can very highly recommend the Steak and Stilton pie too. Will definitely return. Very family friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home.
