Having visited the feathers on a number of occasions I must say how good and what good value the food is.We had the new £10 2course menu finished off by coffees from the new machine. Couldn't fault it

We went in here because the board outside said 'Traditional Ales' Having looked at all the pumps it was clear that there were no 'Traditional Ales' The person behind the bar seemed completely disinterested in her customers, otherwise we could have asked what was available. She clearly thought that what she was doing was much more important than attending to... More

We stopped for lunch on a SaturdaNdebele January and there was only one free table so seemingly a popular haunt. The home cooked food was reasonably priced and good, they offer two courses for £10. The fish and chips was good, with fresh, well cooked fish, small selection of good children's meals at £4.95 Child and dog friendly. Good range... More

Visiting the area my wife and I decided to stop and have an evening meal. The service was great, food fantastic and the atmosphere very welcoming. The beer was very good, its always great to find a nice pint.

I was staying at the Feathers and happened to coincide with their Pie Night. Had fish pie which was one of the best I have had. Can also recommend the accommodation's breakfast.

I cannot fault this local inn, the food is amazing, the service is excellent. Richard the landlord and his team really do know how to make you feel welcome. Fred (with meat and two veg ha ha) is always smiling and nothing is to much trouble, Alex also a good barman. Didn't catch the name of the lovely young lady... More

Having been very impressed with a meal at The Feathers last year, we were looking forward to going back this year whilst in Devon. However, things have obviously gone down hill since then. Good choice on the menu and when we asked the barmaid for some advice, she just looked blankly and suggested we look at the menu... um, just... More
