The setting of this restaurant on the seafront is spectacular but the food was very average with inflated prices. I ordered the lobster which was missing its tail! My husband ordered the fish Majorcan style which was swordfish in cabbage. Overall I was terribly dissociated and would never go back

A wonderful restaurant, on the seafront, amazing views and great salt cod paella. House Rose is great value and service just right.

I have been coming to Layns since 1988 when there were few restaurants in Puerto Andratx. Snr Layn ran it impeccably then and continues to do so with his excellent daughter. Offerings in Andratx aare now many but in my opinion Layns remains in the top 3. Food is original and creative as well as presenting traditional local and Spanish... More

We ate here twice last week and enjoyed both meals. we had tapas at lunch and paella in the evening. The tables at the water side have a lovely view of the boats and sunset but are popular so I would recommend booking. It is a family run restaurant and the service was very good.

I had supper once and it was good . I tried a typical fish from the island called " Denton or Dentol " - it has big teeth (dientes in Spanish ). I had free wifi to check the type of fish it was on my movile after the owner had explained me the features of such a fish .... More

Please read the second part of this review. We visited on a Wednesday evening, were seated at a superb table overlooking the port. Great friendly service and good varied menu. The fish menu in particular was excellent, I would highly recommend. The starters were amazing and not shy with portion size. Our starters consisted of: baby squid, whitebait and cod... More

The four of us are pretty fussy about our food and Layn lived up to it's excellent reputation. We were staying at the HPB Bioneralla complex and had been recommended by management there. We ate here twice and covered a good portion of the menu in the two meals....nothing disappointed. For me the absolute highlight was a carpaccio of courgette... More

This is a fantastic place to eat with a extensive menu to suit all tastes. Fantastic views from the outdoor part over the sea and port.

Food and wine were excellent. The green peppers padron are a great way to start the meal. Stroganoff and Salmon pasta served with style by very quiet but effective staff. Macia batl white wine great. Complimentary lemon whisky sorbet a very nice finishing touch. Went twice within a few days as enjoyed it so much.

We have eaten there quite a few times and love the. Ambiance, the food and, of course, the sunshine. I can recommend it for excellent fish
