Unbelievable food and service. To say nothing of dining on the terrace for lunch with 9 friends. Memories for a lifetime.

The comfortable seats put you into a relaxed mode; then the view mesmerizes you. The staff keeps things friendly and low key, replicating the feeling you get when your young adult children cook you a special dinner at home. The food is very seasonal: I literally saw the end of the asparagus season and the beginning of the pea season... More

The Albergo al Sole is a 5 star hotel located above the piazza in historic Asolo. We can’t afford to stay. But we can afford to dine at La Terazza. A terrace with a view of the town. Of course, it helps to come early (7:45) to catch the view. You’ll be warmly greeted at the front desk as if... More

We stayed in the hotel and ate in the restaurant all 4 nights. The last evening we took the set menu and that was excellent too. The food was exquisite. I particularly enjoyed the veal tortellini and the pumpkin lasagne. The bread basket was the best we had during our stay in Italy. The wine list was good but some choices... More

The restaurant is in the centre of Asolo overlooking the town square with a terace to the front.Service is both crisp and efficient.Be sure to book early especially at weekends as it is popular. The food is modern Italian at its best with fresh ingredients and all home made. There are odd amuse bouche and other nice suprises. The wine list is... More

no dought! the best restaurant in Asolo. that's why we went back: elegant setting, overlooking the main place of charming asolo, by sunset : a delightful start of the evening. the hostesses are competent, discrete but present, and genuinly friendly. the choices in the menu are not too extensive, but what you get is outstanding: nice, elaborated presentation, tastes completely... Excellent group dinner in elegant surroundings. Even nicer private dinner. Homemade gnocchi with truffles is something I will wish for again and again. Beautiful view and a balcony to dine on (above the wonderful town of Asolo) in nice weather.

I enjoyed the interesting menu and particularly the local oils and wine. Quite a modern slant on Italian food and good service with a knowledgeable waitress.

We loved sitting on the terrace overlooking the town of Asolo. That alone might have been enough for a memorable evening but the food was exquisite. We come from the Napa Valley of California where excellent restaurants are plentiful. This one tops many of our California favorites. My antipasto course of jumbo prowns wrapped in a thin crust was among... More
