The food and wine were excellent, but the dining room was also fantastic: the view from the windows is lovely and there was a wonderful breeze through them. The staff is very friendly and clearly dedicated to offering a first-class experience.

Everything from the food to service was absolutely superb. Duck breast with fruits was delicious, so were the ravioli with pecorino cheese and pears. Tiramisu was very airy and rich at the same time. Great place and highly recommended. The owner and the staff were very professional and attentive. A++++

By far the best restaurant we visited in Tuscany. Classy atmosphere, great service and attention to the smallest details. Very knowledgeable, passionate host and friendly helpful waiter. Delicious homemade bread. House aperitif. Best bruchetta we've ever had. The same did not apply for the steak, but it was good value and well garnished. Excellent dessert. Il Celiere shouldn't be missed... More

Others have said it, but this is a memorable setting for a family meal and I only wish that I hadn't left our visit to our last night. The room is modern yet set in a historic castle with fantastic views over the Tuscan Hills. My children raved about their duck dish (not on either menu !) whilst my bruschetta... More

This was the nicest restaurant we went to in the Chianti region. The service was outstanding and the food delicious. One of our party was quite fussy and the main waiter went out of his way to accommodate her! I wound definitely recommend this place to anyone going to the region.
