Booked here based on Tripadvisor reviews and found this to be the very best food in all of our holiday around Italy (and we ate at some really good restaurants). The chef is a perfectionist who combines ingredients to maximise the flavours in his very inventive cooking. The freshly made bufalo cheese with garden-grown tomatoes were sublime and everything from... More

Ended up here because we were too tired to drive to Siena...recommended by the concierge at out hotel...what a find! Food was great from start to finish, the service was warm, personal, and exciting.

The food was just insane, the service impeccable. Highest quality meals with the freshest ingredients. Safe to say we were extremely pleased by the end of the meal and will definitely be returning!

This restaurant seems to focus on its pasta dishes, and we had a tasting of several choices to split with the table to start: a marscapone gnocchi-like pasta in a chianti sauce, a "ravioli of the day" with cheese and pear, and a home-made fresh spagatone (thick spaghetti) in a wild boar sauce. They were all good--but our socks weren't... More

A new restaurant for us , and we will return . A light airy room , a great welcome with a glass of prosecco, a great start . Home made cheese , spinach carrot cheese soufflé and ravioli all were delicious . Large portions of steak , duck , chicken and lamb equally good . Maybe a sauce with the... More

My family and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at this restaurant tonight. The food- all I can say is wow. The freshest produce skilfully cooked into the perfect dish, as well as the very hospitable maître d, Max, made for a truly memorable dining experience. Ado, the other waiter, was also very friendly and has a ceramics gallery in Chianti.... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, but I had also seen it listed as a top choice in the region on TA. It was my boyfriend and I's favorite dinner in Tuscany! Deliciously fresh cheese and pasta!!! Good wine, excellent service. Wonderful dining experience that we'll definitely recommend to friends/family visiting Tuscany in the future.

The restaurant location is wonderful: on top of a Chianti hill and inside a small inner courtyard. The food was delicious. We had two pasta dishes as first course, and a "bistecca alla fiorentina" as second course. Both were very well prepared and served. Everything was accompanied by a superb local wine. The service was careful and friendly. We were... More

I was desperately keen to try this restaurant, having read so many fabulous reviews here – so much so that when I couldn’t make it on the night we booked, I ditched another restaurant to make sure we got to experience Il Celliere. And that’s part of the problem with having high expectations – they are hard to meet and... More
