Great and plentiful, perfect!

I had booked a trip to Castello di Brolio for my boyfriends 30th, the lunch was called 'light lunch' it was more than a light lunch, pleasingly so. I would recommend the wine tasting package with light lunch to anyone. Great service and we have now discovered that we can get the chianti classico... read more

We visited this restaurant after a wonderful journey in the Tuscan countryside. The place is under the castello among big trees. Even though we went for a dinner inside, I guess that having lunch outside would be even better. My husband ordered the degustation menu with 2 wines which was of great quality and quantity! I had the nioki ,... More

Stumbled on this place by accident as we were meant to dine elsewhere. What fortune this was as the meal and service was superb. Everything was cooked to perfection and the sliced beef which was on as special and the appetiser of marinated pork was among the tastiest meat I have tried. The estate also sell their own Chianti and... More

After a a super tour we went to the Osteria for the 5 course menu degustation, with three glases of wine. The amuse bouche was steak tartare and the starter was a pecorino cheese souffle, with a red onion jam. It was followed by ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and carrot. Then a dish of taglietelli with asparagus, tomato and... More

We've been in Brolio this august and, after a beautiful walk in the castle, we stop for a dinner at Osteria. We tasted delicious wines and the food was very very good, with a good choise and season vegetables. congrats to the chef and the staff, hope to be there again

Fresh food, beautiful and relaxed atmosphere, and good wine--what more could you ask for! It was the icing on the cake to complete our visit to the castle and wine tour.

We had lunch here after tasting and buying the excellent wines of Brolio. It was a wet day, so we were not able to enjoy the terrace and ate inside in what is rather like a café in a British motorway services. The chairs backs are so upright that I had to keep standing up to lessen the backache. The... More

A friend of ours who lives in Siena drove us out to this place in the Chianti region for a late lunch. The chef is a friend, and he prepared a truly stunning multi-course meal for us, starting with a poached egg served with truffles, moving on to numerous other courses, including a meat course that featured beef served 4... After a day driving from Florence we had dinner booked for us at this restaurant and it was definitely one of the best locations in which we are during our Italian trip. The service was excellent, the cost reasonable and the food very good indeed! If you are in the area it's well worth it!

The history of the family and the wine-making operation makes the dinner extra-special. The menu for the tour is fixed, but all was great. Wines picked to accompany the courses were well-thought out. Box garden out front found our chefs picking herbs and fresh veggies for dinner.
