We had two outstanding meals at this establishment. It is located in the tiny, beautiful village of Lecchi in Chianti. Both times we sat in the outdoor patio which was just beautiful. The food is outstanding and the tiramisu is the best we have ever eaten. The chef also makes his own bread was just delicious. We searched Tuscany for... More

Great experience. Delicious and slightly different takes on Tuscan traditions, served with a warm smile. Enjoyed tortellini "nudi" and wild boar stew. Excellent desserts too. Located near the top of a mountain and off the beaten path. Would definitely go back again.

Beautiful setting in the garden, every course was amazing. You must have dinner here. Definitely sit outside. And try the lamb ribs!

This restaurant is a perfect example of why people like my wife and I, along with millions of others, return to Tuscany again and again. We had lunch here last week on a lovely sunny day in the shaded courtyard,it was perfect, there is no other way to describe it. The owner was really friendly and welcoming and the food... More

We have been here many times and it is my favorite. Chef Simone and staff are always so friendly and the menu is creative for Tuscan food. Especially good if you look for nice vegetarian. Must try the vegetable pie for appetizer (inside a Parmesan shell). The nudie ravioli is the best. So delicious. Also an excellent selection of wines.

We dined at the restaurant for lunch whilst travelling through the Chianti region. The food, presentation and service was the best we had encountered during our 3 weeks in Italy. As a result we took the cooking class with Chef Simone, several days later. Simone guided us through the preparation, the cooking and the presentation of a typical 4 course... More

i was accompanied to service this restaurant by Elena Napa of Borgo Argenina for Sunday lunch. The food, service and ambiance were all exceptionally excellent. I had the egg/truffle starter and the sliced steak/ truffle main. While there the chef showed us a giant truffle! It was the biggest I've ever seen in over 20 years in Tuscany. The chef is... More

We have eaten here several times - usually the last night of our holiday. The food is excellent as is the service. The stuffed mushroom with egg and truffle starter is a must closely followed by the vegetable sformata in a parmesan basket. Wonderful steaks and a good wine list. And then we walk home through the woods accompanied by... More

We showed up at Malborghetto without a reservation, but the young woman who greeted us implored Simone to seat us. We are grateful they did. My wife had a salad and I had ravioli to start. Then we had the. chicken and Olive stew and the filet in wine sauce. Both were very good. The desserts were light and tasty.... More
