With a view on the Tuscan hills, from the heights of a charming medieval village (Barberino), we had excellent food (white truffle tagliatere.. hmmmm!) The service is friendly, the setting very beautiful and the food soberly presented and done just right: good local ingredients cooked with respect and taste.

We stayed in the village of Barberino from october 15 to october 16 and really enjoyed both nights we had dinner there. The Tuscan beef stew and the Raviolli topped with truffles were just amazing plus the wine recommendation by Marco made the whole experience delightful.

This restaurant is really special! The outside setting is really magnificent with gorgeous views of Tuscan hillsides and vineyards. The food is expertly crafted with the freshest ingredients, delivered to your table by the owner. My husband and I liked it so much, we ate there three times! The little city of Barberino is quite beautiful with cobble stone streets... More

Took dinner here with my wife and two friends. Food and wine very good indeed, complemented by excellent service. 3 of us had a local chianti beef stew, which was full of flavour. Interestiong and varied menu - plenty of choice. Can recommend this place

We went for dinner at this location. If we had another evening, we would have visited again. Started with excellent house wine, antipasto and dinner entrees. The service was excellent, spent a perfect evening. Highly recommend if you are in this area.

We had such a great time at this restaurant that we went there twice! Food was excellent, I highly recommend the Pappardelle al cinghiale as primo piatto and il filletto di manzo with a big porcini mushroom on top of it! Wine by the glass was ok, but I was way more happier taking half a bottle of chianti. Marco... More

This experience has been one of our top dining experiences in Italy! Stunning vistas, wonderful food (and gluten sensitive), charming staff (Patrizia especially!). Suggest reservations if you choose to dine after 8. The dining experience is set in a beautiful medieval village. Walk through the church (takes your breath away to see the vistas through the church doors). The dining... More

We had a small evening meal here on a terrace overlooking a beautiful Chianti valley in Tuscany. The cheeses were fine, the gnocchi light and tasty, the beef was very tender and the Chianti house wine was very smooth, all topped with a rich Lemoncello. The meal was made all the more pleasant with the staff who were humourous, efficient... More
