Delicious.

The food is very good especially the house starter which easily is enough to share between 2. Lovely setting with garden area. Service slow as food cooked freshly and restaurant was busy but that did not detract from a delicious meal.

This restaurant was chosen for an end-of-holiday dinner by our family group of eight people. In three weeks in Italy, this was the only bad meal that we ate. Upon arrival we were blown away - the restaurant is beautiful! We were seated outdoors in a gorgeous garden setting next to the vineyards, and the kids could explore the garden... More

It was very quiet after the wedding party had gone. Initially we weren't sure they were open. Friendly service and the food was excellent. I wanted to eat more! My friends and I tried different things, and we were pleased with all we had. Duck, wood pigeon, beef tartare, ravioli, and a mixture taster of desserts. Looking forward to returning... More

Although the setting is beautiful, the service was non existent and the food poorly executed. The beef and pork fillets were over cooked and the beef fillet smothered in a poorly constructed sauce. The pasta dishes were bland and forgettable. We had to search often for our "server" to even pay our bill. A truly terrible experience.

This restaurant was located about 2.5K from where we were staying. It is setup very nice and the menu is wide ranging using many different pastas and game meats. This is a family run establishment with a 5 Star feel. We had a large party that was treated in an amazing fashion.

We had a lovely evening with a group of 12--family and friends-- in mid-July. The setting was stunning--very romantic but relaxed enough to bring children. Sat on the gorgeous terrace--the food satisfied even the most discerning palates in our group. The service was top notch but not overbearing. One of the most memorable dinners we had on our vacation. Would... More

Delightful setting. Neat, pretty, flowers, rustic Tuscan setting. This place looks like a movie set from some kind of Tuscan romance film. Gorgeous. Family run with the owners and their kids serving and cooking. Kind of hard to find and judging by the small number of trip advisor reviews, this place is usually overlooked. Food was amazing and YES the... More

Fabulous location, fantastic family who run the place with much love and dedication. Very good food. If you're in the chianti area of tuscany make sure you don't miss this place. It's in the town of barberino val d'elsa.

We visited this restaurant on a very rainy evening, so we couldn't fully enjoyed the exterior, yet still I liked the design a lot. Food was very good. Not spectacular, but certainly way above average. So despite this restaurant is significantly more expensive than the others in the area, we felt like getting a proper value for our money. The... This is my second time eating here. The last time, in 2011, we had a wonderful meal and a fabulous dessert. I was really looking forward to returning there again. The salad (which cost 9 euros) was just greens, pine nuts and some small pieces of pear and they put the oil and vinegar on the table. It was unremarkable... More
