We had a great meal here on our one night in Modica. It had a lovely, cosy atmosphere and was family friendly. The menu had good local dishes including plenty of vegetarian options. We shared a mixed antipasti platter to start and then I went for the delicious mixed grill with a side salad. We had a bottle of a... More

This restaurant was recommended to us and it was certainly worth the visit. We were there on a Sunday for lunch and just managed to be seated ahead of the locals who flooded in for their traditional long Sunday family lunch. The menu is easy to understand with photos of all the meals and descriptions in many languages. This is... More

Nice restaurant on the main street in Modica. Stopped for lunch and sat outside. Wine, beer, antipasto for two...more than enough and didn't even touch the bread. You will learn that in Sicily portions are huge. (I should have learned to order less!) Anyway, it is delicious food and nice ambiance, good service.

I had a wonderful meal here. The dishes are authentic and hearty. The wine list is brilliant and the house wine is good. Staff is professional and fast. Lots of locals were eating here. Definitely worth a visit.

Went for lunch back in September. The antipasto was a meal in itself. Couldn't decide on a primo so they served me two half portions. The food was excellent, the service was excellent but could be a bit slow for some people. Lunch lasted over two hours and with wine came in at a reasonable €22. Needed a walk around... More

A busy restaurant on the main street with professional and friendly staff, hearty food and plenty of it, the bean soups etc come in a large pot, about 4 plate fulls each!, good house wine and great atmosphere.

Our guide Barbara suggested this restaurant for our group lunch. Apparently it's a favorite for the tourist buses but don't let that stop you. The food is fabulous and the kitchen manages the volume of guests quite well. Try the Fagioli, the Lentil Soup or the Garbanzo stew. You can't go wrong! The prices are affordable, the food is authentic... More
