This very simple restaurant has about 200 covers. The menu features classic Sicilian dishes, mostly from the surrounding region. Restaurants such as this are one of the joys of travel, tasting authentic food previously unknown to us. The bill for two with wine was about €30 and I would highly recommend it for lovers of genuine regional Italian cooking. It... More

We had a great dinner with pasta alla Norma and a soup. The service was nice. Very touristic, but it has maintained the authentic feeling

Good local dishes and not bad value but too many tourists for my liking. Had a good wine list with fair prices and it's true to its name, lost flavours. Menu in Sicilian dialect and tasty food. Certainly worth a try but not sure I'd return too soon.

Good atmosphere - no fish here - all meat and veg with soem hearty stew and bean options - different food to Syracuse - reasonable price. A lot of tourist but not distracting as not many make it to Modica

We went two times to this restaurant. Typical Sicilian food. Mix of turists and locals. Nice atmosphere, very Italian. Great food and very cheap! Good wines. Very nice!

We were advised to eat at the place by our host, as we asked for Sicilian food, which is typical for the region and our expectations were met! The osteria was totally booked in evening (but we managed to find a place) and was crowded by locals in lunchtime too. Food was simple and tasty and a bottle of wine... More

Typical Italian restaurant , good and fast service, local cuisine prepared as it should be. Not expensive. Don't expect fancy dishes, but dishes in grandmothers style, if you are in for that this is absolute top quality. Service was attentive and friendly. A disadvantage is that it is situated on the main busy street, but inside in the airconditoned rooms... More

We were in Sicily for a week and I would say this was one of the better meals we had. The restaurant was busy but the service was still good. The meal was typical Sicilian dishes, simple but tasty. We would definitely go back there.

Yes its relatively inexpensive and the menu does come with pictures. However not quite the same as it actually looks on real life. Service was very slow but we weren't in a hurry so that wasn t .problem. pretty average from our perspective. There are nicer places to eat.
