Traditional and friendly

We found this traditional trattoria and ordered a light lunch. Shared appetiser which was delicious and generous with local Olive oil and good bread. Pasta to follow. Just the right size portion and very tasty. Mixed salad, house wine, beer and water. Under 30 euros so excellent value. Helpful and... read more

The lady from our hotel suggested this place and we enjoyed it a lot! Cheeseplatter to start with, and some nice raviolis and a nice secondi. And a canoli for desert - what a treat! Also the small street where it is located is very charming. At 21:00 a lot more locals came in for dinner and we saw a... More

Excellent variety of local food, economical prices. Tucked away in a back street , frequented by locals. The red house wine was ordinary, not matching the quality of the food.

In a nice street that you can't reach by car, a lot of local, nice food. Good to have a little something to eat in the evening.

We stopped for a light lunch and were delighted with the offerings here.I had an arugula salad with anchovies and my husband had a cold eggplant ,both delicious and a welcome alternative to pizza or pannini. There are many delightful options, all fresh and beautifully prepred.

Nestled in a lovely side street, this restaurant is what one can ex pect from a traditional sicilian trattoria. Fresh produce and good wines with a really well priced menu. We tried the sicilian veggie platter, the melanzane parmiggiana and the fresh pasta with veggie, first one on the list all washed down with a lovely nero d avola Piccioto.... More

This was a third visit after some time. The food is the same as before - well presented. The new fifteen euro tasting menu is massive and you need to be hungry. The extensive menu gives a good choice. Good value.

We went here on the recommendation of the lady at the tourist information office, who said it was authentic regional food and the price was reasonable. She was right - some of the best food we had on our trip. The beef spezzatino and the rabbit stew were excellent (though one of our group was disappointed in his 'roast meats'... More

We visited the place twice during our stay in Modica, both times it was busy but we got the wine and antipasti relatively quickly, so could start on that. My favorite was the rabbit stew, also the chickpeas pasta was good as a first plate. I did not like the pancetta al forno, which is with bacon, because the bacon... More
