This was a third visit after some time. The food is the same as before - well presented. The new fifteen euro tasting menu is massive and you need to be hungry. The extensive menu gives a good choice. Good value.

We went here on the recommendation of the lady at the tourist information office, who said it was authentic regional food and the price was reasonable. She was right - some of the best food we had on our trip. The beef spezzatino and the rabbit stew were excellent (though one of our group was disappointed in his 'roast meats'... More

We visited the place twice during our stay in Modica, both times it was busy but we got the wine and antipasti relatively quickly, so could start on that. My favorite was the rabbit stew, also the chickpeas pasta was good as a first plate. I did not like the pancetta al forno, which is with bacon, because the bacon... More

THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND THE SERVICE VERY GOOD!!!!! one only fault, the was a young man on the till (probably the owner son) that spent all the time on the phone and texting, while everyone was busy around him.. even when we went to pay the bill was still on the phone!!!just wanted to slap him!!!

We were told by two ladies from Modica that this restaurant is where locals go for dinner. This seems to be a family owned business. The setting is typical and warm but the food was very bland and boring. We were a bit disappointed but the prices were very reasonable so it was OK.

We came in here and 3 waiters ignored us, one talking private conversation on the cellphone, guy on the counter couldn’t care they had customers (the place was half empty) and the third girl went back in forward without greeting us! We were seated to a table in a narrow corner even having a little kid with us near the... More

On our first visit we had made a reservation & the restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived. So we had time for a nice, leisurely chat with the owner & were presented with some traditional Sicilian bread. Then we had 2 pasta dishes; ravioli and a pasta with spinach, ricotta, herbs & currants. Our main courses were a rabbit... More

I have been to this restaurant on many occasions and through all the seasons. It is basic in terms of decor , but the food is ‘authentic’ with the signora going out of her way to ensure that her customers leave the restaurant happy. The prices are reasonable and it is an ideal place for taking the family , pushchairs... More
