Yummy

I've spent in this restaurat two excellent nights for a dinner trough an international project. All the dishes were perfect and also the selection of wine. I really enjoyed this experience. If possible, take a sit outside for it's beautiful view of the old part of Modica! I strongly recommend this... read more

Can't describe you the, litterally, TORTURE I've endured in that place. But I'll try since it's important nobody goes there anymore. In short: 2:30 for pizzas, HORRIBLE pizzas, sat in a "bed" of flour. 3:00 (THREE!!) hours for the other dishes, served sporadically at around 5 minutes from each other. I got mine as the very last, a MICROSCOPIC wheel... More

We stayed only two nights in Modica, but dined both nights at this restaurant because we absolutely love it. One of the reasons why we often return to Modica on our trips to Sicily is because of the good food we get here. The food is always excellent, I especially loved the pasta with pangratatto, and I still dream of... More

The place was dead... one other couple, and our family. This was at 8pm. The server was bored and inattentive. My husband's Ravioli di Ricotta was tepid and he said it tasted like it had been frozen/processed then microwaved. I didn't even want to try because it looked so unappetizing . My Ravioli di Verdura was better, but not great.... More

Been there in June 2011, lunchtime. Very nice place, clean and quiet. The owner was able to give us all the necessary suggestions being always charming as all the other reviewers are saying. Great compromise between price and quality. Suggestion. take the Coniglio alla stimpirana, delicious and soft.

Been there yesterday evening, we were four people. The pasta with pan grattato was nothing special, the antipasti were OK, the dessert below the standards for modica. We probably would not go back.

Fantastic Moroccan/Italian fusion cuisine that reflects the poetic character of the city. A beautiful restaurant with ochre walls and 19th c men's fashion illustrations, flower paintings and lace window armoires. It faces a discretely romantic square tucked away in quaint Modica Alta high above the busy streets of Modica Bassa. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Wonderful place. My... More

Stale bread, antipasti without any taste whatsoever, tomato sauce straight from a tin can bought in a very cheap supermarket, dried spagettini that are way overcooked and frozen ravioli that are way undercooked, the kind you get in a junior high school cafeteria in Nebraska.
