Great place to have a granita or aperativo

Great place to have a granita or aperativo. House aperativo with prosecco and blackberries is great. Also accompanying small food (2 euro) is perfect . Very friendly staff. Kids loved granita.

My husband had a cappuccino and a brioche but I went for the hot chocolate. The waiter asked if I wanted it made with milk or water - apparently water is the traditional way so that is what I had. Quite dark in colour and obviously very chocolatey but what really surprised me was the texture - more like eating... More

Such a friendly environment with great taste of chocolate. You can also have real chocolate beans. Everything tastes great. Salvo is very helpful as well, ask him if you have questions

The coffee is excellent, as are the pastries and the hot chocolate. The service is impeccable. The waiters spoke excellent English and made sure to advise us of any allergens in the products we ordered. We went here every morning during our trip (and a few afternoons too). It is situated on the main street in Modica, almost opposite the... More

They have a wide range of local Sicilian pastries and deserts which were all excellent. My personal favorite are the cannoli's with ricotta cheese and pistacio nuts, buonissima!!. Their gelato is also very good. Some of the staff speak English and they have a menu in English as well and the prices are very friendly.

The perfect Sicilian experience! The waiters and proprietor are really proud of their chocolate. pastries and granite - the canola had just been made and we had a choice of chocolate. ricotta or custard fillings - we had all three! Delicious! Great coffee and almond granite, the sun shone..It doesn't get much better than this!

This a a great cafe, delicious cakes and pastries, large and small, even bite sized. The chocolate bars are wonderful, favourites are the coffee, nut and vanilla. We went here several times on our visit to Modica, it's very welcoming to guests, always a chocolate sample and smiles. Some of the staff speak English. In poor weather the upstairs seating... More

If you want to sample the finest Sicilian pastries and cakes in Italy this is the spot to sit down and enjoy. Made on the premises by the master-craftsmen Iacono family, there are so many colourful delicacies that must be tried, from the finest elaborate cannoli using local ricotta to the ancient Arab dainties that contain meat and sugar, from... Very busy cafe on the main street in Modica. The seating is outside and it's nice if you can get a seat out of direct sunlight. The pastries and coffee we had on our visits were very good and so was a gelato I had walking up the road. Probably the best cannoli we had in Modica.

We originally came here for a digestivo after dinner one evening in the Centro of Modica, around 10pm. We stood at the bar as we drank an amaro, and started to marvel at the different granita, cremolata, gelato, and cannoli, cakes, chocolates, and pastry plates of dolci that were being prepared right in front of us (for customers sitting at...
