Tucked away at the back of the building, this is a real treat. Beautiful vaulted ceilings, heaps of features and tastefully restored, Ristorante i Templari is a treat. Tucked away at the back of the building, this is a real treat. Beautiful vaulted ceilings, heaps of features and tastefully restored, Ristorante i Templari is a treat. Maria Pia is everything you could ask for; passionate, helpful, attentive, engaging and a nice sense of humour. She speaks excellent English if you need it. And, of course, the food. Fresh,... More

It's always fun to share thoughts on a great dining experience. Let's start with the restaurant itself: small, intimate, charming. Maria, the co-owner is an absolute delight with a twinkle in her eye. Though she denies it, her English is excellent and she has no trouble sharing her vast knowledge of food and wine with visitors. We had the antipasto... More

Very helpful friendly staff, who made us feel wanted. The antipasto was fantastic, and each platter was explained so we enjoyed it very much. The pasta dishes were varied and freshly prepared with all local ingredients. An excellent and extensive wine list complimented the food. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone. There were friends, families, pensioners and younger couples in all... More

Reasonably priced restaurant, all within a vaulted ceiling. Great service and very good food. Wine very reasonably priced.

The place to eat! Try the anti pasta selection and you will be overwhelmed with all kinds of local specialties. They just keep coming... by far the best food during our stay in Puglia so far. Great selection of wines and the hostess really understands her job, explaining about the food being serves and making sure you have a great... More

I went here yesterday with my family after reading reviews on TripAdvisor, and was not disappointed!! The food - AMAZING, especially the antipasti (very varied and filling), the setting - beautiful, the staff - incredibly friendly (and for the linguistically-challenged of us they even had menus in English - which is certainly not to say it's a sham for tourists!).... We enjoyed this restaurant so much, we visited it 3 times during our stay in Puglia. The owner is very friendly and speaks very good English as does the waitress. The service is excellent, every dish is explained and cooked fresh from ingredients available that day. On our second visit we tried the antipasti which consists of around 16 typical... More

Somehow we've managed to miss this place in the 10 years we've been coming to Martina. We now know what a shame that is as it's one of the best restaurants in the town. As others have already said, the antipasti is top notch and a definite step up from the usual meat & cheese platters (good though those always... More

There are always new restaurants opening in Martina Franca (possible rising stars), but some, like I Templari are shine out in the firmament. It is a couple of years since we have eaten here and that is far too long. The restaurant is bright and airy, very clean, with good space between the tables; the welcome is warm and we... More

We ate here last weekend. It is a teeny restaurant set in what feels like an ancient cellar. We didn't have a very good start as we waited a good twenty minutes for any attention and even longer to get our drinks. My husband and son ordered the antipasto and it was a feast fit for kings! In fact, there... More
