It was a rainy weekend in Puglia. But we only had a day to see round some of the beautiful old towns north of Lecce, the area of towns like Alberobello to see the trulli of the Valle d'Itria. How rich and beautiful are the inner old towns, all built in the fabulous white limestone of the region – and... More

We happened across this place while wandering the older parts of Martina Franca and as the menu looked appealing enough we decided to stop for lunch. The name of the place rang a bell from having browsed the Lonely Planet guide at some point in the past, but it was really the menu that pulled us in, along with the... More

Ate here in the centre of Martina Franca and enjoyed a splendid lazy lunch surrounded by views of wonderful architecture. The polite and friendly waiter suggested I tried the daily special and was very convincing. I'm so glad I listened to him as I enjoyed one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten washed down with a superb large... More

We ate here on our last night in Martina Franca. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I had the Spaghetti alle vongole which was very good!

We were recommended a visit to Marina Franco by the owners of the villa we were renting. We were not disappointed with the town and decided to stay for Dinner. By luck we found Due Agnelli. With two fussy teenagers it is difficult to find something for all our tastes but with an extension menu that also included Pizza there... More

The menu looked good, so we decided to have lunch. Nice place. We had pesto gnocchi with scampi and spaghetti with mussels in wine. Both dishes were delicious, we enjoyed our lunch!

Very good variety on the menu for all tastes, I had delicious prawn and asparagus tagliatelle this time, superb. Located on a lovely square in the old part of Martina Franca, now visited a couple of times and would return

Waiters are very pushy and food not very special. We have been there three times in the hope that it might improve over the years, but always disappointing.

We have lived in Italy and eaten lotsa pasta. But this pleasant little restaurant has an amazing pasta dish which they claim is their invention and can be found nowhere else...and I wouldn't be surprised if that's true. It is linguini with orange cream sauce, bits of zucchini flowers, a few bits of mild red pepper, scampi, a little grated... More

We chose this location because of its view and menu. We were served very quicky and pleasent. One waitress was not showing interest, the waiter was very service minded. The food was really good. We had the mixed antipasti for two. Prices are low and reasonable. Minus? The wine was quickly warm due to the sunny location.
