Excellent for lunch

This was one of the few places open for lunch on Sunday, it's next to the cathedral. I found the food of a very good quality and the service friendly with good English spoken. The cover charge is based on the hour which is odd, but when I queried this it was dropped, so no complaints. I'd go... read more

Very, very, slow. One hour for starters, no apologies, don't waste your time here. Absolutely the poorest service we have had during our visit to Italy, what a shame.

Dear Duncan, for us it is very hard to believe your words! During the summer our restaurant gets a great number of customers, moreover the food is always cooked real time. These are just the two reasons of our waiting times. Regards from Antonello Di Bartolomeo, owner of Due Agnelli. More

Friendly service, ate outside under heater, glass of Prosecco 'on the house', fabulous pizzas. Located in one of the main Piazzas in Martina Franca, baroque architecture, worth a visit!

This restaurant is in the main square and is very smart, with white linen tablecloths and large sun umbrellas. It was very pleasant sitting outside and watching the world go by. The service was very prompt and efficient and the pizzas were really delicious. We had tiramisu to follow, which was also very good.

We enjoyed eating at this restaurant. There are nice touches like the free taster of a sparkling wine. The food was very good, service was good and very friendly and the local wine excellent. My understanding is that the cuisine is not quite typical of Puglia but then - it was very good and well presented and plenty of it.... More

Cannot comment on the food because we waited nearly 30 mins to have our order taken and then gave up. Complete disregard for your customers.

We had a perfect experience taking lunch at this restaurant. Set in a very beautiful square, Piazza Immacolata, we had a front table set with linen - I hate paper. We were given a half glass of prosecco on arrival and a lovely entree of focaccia with sundried tomatoes. The food was exellent; tagliatelli with mushrooms was really good as... More

It was a rainy weekend in Puglia. But we only had a day to see round some of the beautiful old towns north of Lecce, the area of towns like Alberobello to see the trulli of the Valle d'Itria. How rich and beautiful are the inner old towns, all built in the fabulous white limestone of the region – and... More

We happened across this place while wandering the older parts of Martina Franca and as the menu looked appealing enough we decided to stop for lunch. The name of the place rang a bell from having browsed the Lonely Planet guide at some point in the past, but it was really the menu that pulled us in, along with the... More

Ate here in the centre of Martina Franca and enjoyed a splendid lazy lunch surrounded by views of wonderful architecture. The polite and friendly waiter suggested I tried the daily special and was very convincing. I'm so glad I listened to him as I enjoyed one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten washed down with a superb large... More
