Very nice location. Price/quality acceptable. Go for typical local dishes where fresh ingredients are necessary, e.g. cold seafood, salads,... Young unexperienced girls serve the food...

Surprised to see such poor reviews. Recommended by friends who have eaten there before, we had a very pleasant lunch. Yes it is not fine dining but if you want a simple lunch with a great view of the beach and sea plus free wifi then this is the place. The service was prompt and responsive. Mussels in blue cheese... We got swept away by the beautiful location with the sea view, and that the place was really busy. This and the nice rosé wine were about the only positive points of the dinner experience, unfortunately. The seafood platter as a starter consisted only of mussels and nothing else, the caprese was mediocre. Scallopine dry, so were the fries, pulpo... More

Was served some of the most rotten seafood imaginable. When we complained, the staff was rude. No apologies, no discounts. After paying the bill (which I wish we had not done), I spoke to the manager. He began in English, but when he realised I was complaining, he switched to Italian and pretended not to be able to speak English.... More

I have to say with such an amazing location it would have been a hit if the food and service had been good. The menu was mediocre and I should have known then not to expect too much. The food was not only slow but nothing to write home about, they forgot 2 orders so we left hungry and penniless... More

Difficult to believe this was the same place as described in other reviews we've seen - it wasn't great but it served up acceptable food in pleasant (inside because of the weather) surroundings. The service itself was on the ball and very pleasantly delivered. We shared carpaccio di pesce to start which was as it should be: fresh and not... More

We stopped here for lunch on a day visit to Gallipoli. The outside seating across the street from the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the sea and overlooks the old town beach. It is really a wonderful place to be on a warm sunny day. We ordered one of the featured luncheon specials (fisherman's risotto at 10 Euros). While... More

We were planning to go to Bleu Salento Ristorante (on Lungomare Marconi), but they were not open until 8:30 pm. We took a chance on the Scoglio Delle Sirene in old town Gallipoli restaurant as they were open earlier (7 pm), and were we ever glad we came. The setting overlooks the sea, and could not have a better view... More
