+ very friendly chef and waiter + nice selection of wines + typical piemonteese cuisine + the tables are far enough from each other, so you have some privacy - there's only one menu, no à la carte at all (but they change a course if you ask it) - the menu was rather expensive compaired to all the restaurants... If you want to taste a real local experience, take yout time and visit this restaurant. The atmosphere in the village is great and you can find nice hotels as well. the restaurant itself is not a beauty by its own. Its the food who make you feel home. The owner is a passionate man, how will tell and show... More

This is our second time in Piemonte and we've been to this restaurant for the 4th time. It is simply impossible be there just at once. In addition we travel a lot around Europe and had never been to a restaurant where everything is as perfect as this one: from the taste, to the wine and the plates decoration. Hospitality... More

Falstaff offers a creative and very well presented high level kitchen at a moderate price, we had four antipasti, very nice tajarin and nice dessert

I think this was probably, no, this WAS, the best meal I have ever eaten. I cant fault the food, wine or staff. We arrived almost an hour & a half late due to flight issues & after checking in at La Locanda Bevitore opposite thought we would be turned away at such a late hour. Instead we were welcomed,... Nowhere can one feast as well at lunch as in Italy. This little restaurant in a small town in the Piedmont after a morning of hiking fulfilled our dream of a meal. several tasty strutters were followed by a tasty ravioli, braised veal shoulder in Barolo completed by a delightful panna cotta. The Arneis, Palaverga and Barolo wines were complements to... The quality of the food was exceptional. It all started with three antipastis, all more delicious than the next. The portions were small but honest. Since the three antipastis were followed by a primi and a secundi plate plus a dessert we felt that it was well worth the price! A must for all food connaisseurs! The 1998 barbereso was... More

We stayed at La Locanda dell'orso bevitore (just across the street) and was recommended this place for dinner. It is a place we will never forget. It was the best restaurant experience we had during our stay in Piedmont (and we also went to Piazza Duomo in Alba. Michelin stars and finesse is good, but not always the best). The... More

We had the small tasting menu and it was exquisite. The highlight of the night was the pasta with freshly shaved truffle. It was superb!! It was only 35 euros a person for 4 courses. highly recommend. Great for a romantic night out with your date! The chef met us in the dining room after the food was served. AWesome... More

A lot of different tastes to try and when we tried it pretty different to the food of other typical piemontese restaurants of that area. So highly recommended! Everything fresh with a lot of personal interest and engagement from the chef. Great winecellar with a lot of bottles worth a stop and try. Hope to be back soon!
