Returned for second time and was even better!

Revisited after my last first experience last year. Essentially we ate what the chef made, which included the Battuta di Fassone with black truffles, Tajarin with white alba truffle, quiche tart, beef cheeks, various mushroom dish, an assorted chocolate dish and a hazelnut torte with milk ice... read more

Revisited after my last first experience last year. Essentially we ate what the chef made, which included the Battuta di Fassone with black truffles, Tajarin with white alba truffle, quiche tart, beef cheeks, various mushroom dish, an assorted chocolate dish and a hazelnut torte with milk ice cream and raspberries. Unbelievable food and for 2 persons without drinks was 90... More

We arrived to Piemonte quite late, got a recommendation to go there from the hotel, and had no special expectations. The result was above and beyond. We had an excellent dinner that lasted 3 hours. Great wine selection and very good wine guidance, tajarin was amassing, so was every dish from start to end. Definitely a restaurant to remember and... More

It is unlikely we would have come across this restaurant but for the recommendation of the owner of the place we were staying at. It is located on the corner of an intersection & there is no way any passing traffic would drop in as the exterior does it no favours. However, it is clear the operators take food very... More

From the outside, Il Falstaff looks fairly unassuming. We had made a reservation based on recommendations before we arrived here and drove past on our way to Verduno. I don't think we were really expecting much from our diner; we were very much mistaken. When we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome. The interior is clean and subdued... More

From the outside we expected basic italian food. But what we had was a great five course (or more?) meal. Single waiter was so keen we had a great meal, we didn't get a menu but the were 2-5 choices dependent on the course. At the end the chef came out and wanted us to have grappa I'm not a... More

+ very friendly chef and waiter + nice selection of wines + typical piemonteese cuisine + the tables are far enough from each other, so you have some privacy - there's only one menu, no à la carte at all (but they change a course if you ask it) - the menu was rather expensive compaired to all the restaurants... If you want to taste a real local experience, take yout time and visit this restaurant. The atmosphere in the village is great and you can find nice hotels as well. the restaurant itself is not a beauty by its own. Its the food who make you feel home. The owner is a passionate man, how will tell and show... More

This is our second time in Piemonte and we've been to this restaurant for the 4th time. It is simply impossible be there just at once. In addition we travel a lot around Europe and had never been to a restaurant where everything is as perfect as this one: from the taste, to the wine and the plates decoration. Hospitality... More

Falstaff offers a creative and very well presented high level kitchen at a moderate price, we had four antipasti, very nice tajarin and nice dessert

I think this was probably, no, this WAS, the best meal I have ever eaten. I cant fault the food, wine or staff. We arrived almost an hour & a half late due to flight issues & after checking in at La Locanda Bevitore opposite thought we would be turned away at such a late hour. Instead we were welcomed,...
