Best restaurant in Sarnano.

We had two meals at this wonderful osteria while in Sarnano. Gabriele is totally charming and makes everyone feel like family as he sits down to discuss your dinner with you and makes his recommendations. His wife is a master in the kitchen. Italy is a place we frequent and the food at Scherzi a Parte is great. Also amazing local wine!! The owner comes to your table, sits down, takes the order and the rest is just joyful. We also have kids and need to make sure they are kid friendly and this place is. So if you're in the area, stop... More

We discovered this restaurant via tripadvisor and what a find this is. If you are looking for great local traditional food, helpful advice (offered in English for those whose Italian is not that good) your delightful host Gabriele is your man. Although the Osteria was pretty full - always a good indication of a good venue - nothing was too... More

Every time we visit Sarnano we always go to Scherzi a Parte (for the past 10 years). The pasta dishes are always excellent and they serve the best anti-pasta mista we have found. The owner (Gabrielle) is always attentive and has a very good grasp of the English language, which helps for those who you don't speak Italian. Tiziana prepares... More

Really natural and genuine food from the heart of Sibillini. This restaurant is located between Sarnano and Sassotetto and it is an ideal place to taste the food from Marche. The kindness of the owner and the ability of his wife in the kitchen makes this restaurant the number one! On Sunday or Festivity you must call for reservation. Must... More

A warm and welcoming restaurant. Gabrielli is a caring and considerate host with a lovely taste in music and a diligence for front of house service that is professional and comfortingly homely. His wife can be complemented for a her delicious seasonal food and this was one of the only restaurants we visited that had a gluten free pasta option.... More

This is a wonderfully friendly restaurant offering a great local menu and first class hospitality. Gabrielli even let me play his guitars, including his unique hand-made Eko 12-string. His wife is an excellent cook and we recommend Osteria Scherzi A Parte to all travellers to Sarnano.

We have been visiting the Sarnano area of Italy for over ten years and have relatives in the area. Gabriele's restaurant was one of the first that we visited, when it was in smaller premises over the road. We were much impressed by the quality of the food, together with the ambience and excellent service and having returned many times... More

This was a truly delicious supper. You must try it. We had a five course supper and were treated so well. The owner talks you through all the dishes and gives you advise as to what he feels you would like and how many dishes to choose! As there are many. we were very impressed with the standard of food... More
