this reastaurant in the centre of Sarnano is really great. The food is excellent and the wine can be chose directly by the customer from a limited but really good selection of local wines. The proprietor guides and advises the customer explaining all that is needed about the dishes. Really worth a visit.

Being a foodie from Australia, I was very excited about dining at Le Clarisse's Osteria's after reading all the wonderful reviews. From the very beginning the young owners were so accommodating opening their restaurant early for our very young family of six. The matrid had very good English and entertained us with the history and their own personal restaurant story... More

Having recently returned to Australia from a 5 months fabulous visit to le Marche, we would like to share our delight at having discovered this restaurant in the tiny cobblestoned streets of the medieval village Sarnano, which rises like a chocolate tiered wedding cake in the centre of town. Freshly prepared seasonal food is the order of the day, served... More

Although we were the only ones on a quiet night, the friendly owners made sure we had a great dinner for good value.

Enchanting! Delicious! The best dinner of my trip to Italy. Set in a centuries old Convent, under stone vaulted ceilings, in the heart of the old city, this place is magic! Run by a friendly young couple, the food is fresh, cooked to order and absolutely delicious! They specialize in truffles --- and the dulce (dessert) is heavenly! Best food... More

Warm and friendly atmosphere, owners are a young and idealistic couple who put quality and service before making money. This was by far the best meal we had on our trip in Italy. Just go and convince yourself. Because everything is homemade, and the lady of the house is cooking and serving (together with her husband), don't expect to be... More

My husband and I found the restaurant after some searching but it was definitely worth looking for. Vicki and her husband Antonio served us a great steak on a stone with wild local mushrooms and sampled wine from their kegs. What a great little place and a very nice couple. The ambience with the stone arched walls and ceilings and... More

On a recent trip to the largely undiscovered LeMarche province of Italy, my friends and I were fortunate to discover Le Clarisse---an excellent small restaurant in Sarnano. Having spent 2 weeks in Italy (Tuscany/Le Marche/Rome) I think that we enjoyed our meal at Le Clarisse more than any other. Clarisse serves as waitress, cook and hostess and does so remarkably... We ate here one evening and it was one of the most authentic italian meals that we have had during our annual visits to Italy. The resaturant is small and feels family run and has daily specials on the menu using local ingredients. The quality and value is great.
