The service was friendly, quick and efficient. The menu has enough 'typical" Italian dishes for everyone's palate, but the local dishes are excellent and highly recommended. On a summer evening, try for a seat outside- warm, quiet and pleasant

This small, family run restaurant in Macerata serves some of the best local dishes to be tasted in the Marche. Well supported by Italians as well as visitors the food is always excellent and service good. A particular dish to look out for is the Risotto di fine herbes - melt in the mouth with a dictate yet aromatic flavour.... More

We were there before the open air opera and the staff were wonderful, if busy. Really busy. They forgot a salad, but hardly surprising when everyone needed to be fed before 9 o'clock. Having said that the food was excellent and the staff were lovely.

Maybe we were unlucky that we were there when the restaurant was busy, but we were underwhelmed by the service and food, which was also the saltiest I have ever eaten. On the plus side, the wine was inexpensive and the choices of wine were good.

If you’re in the town of Macerata, take the time to find this gem. It’s off the ‘main drag’, if there is, in fact, a main drag in this charming understated town. You’ll be rewarded with authentic local cuisine with a modern twist at very reasonable prices and extremely friendly service. The standouts were the plate of local cheeses served... More

I don't like to recommend restaurants, as everybody has their own appetites, likes, tastes and budgets, but the Osteria dei Fiori is well worth a visit if you're in Macerata. It is an intimate restaurant serving typical local food, produced from seasonal ingredients and always ready with some new interesting ideas. I have eaten there many times, and I have... More

Passing through Macerata on a damp November day my spirits were lifted by this restaurant. The menu featured local dishes and specialites of the day. Service was prompt and cheery. Antipasto of a good selection of affettati and fragrant warm breads, was followed by homemade spaghetti alla chittara made with chestnut flour and a sauce of porcini and chestnuts which... More

Our last meal on holiday in Le Marche had to be a bit special. So we went for the #1. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT !! Frosty service, average food, basic atmosphere with kitchen noises (incl. radio) next to terrace and no decoration On the plus side: the wine list - but difficult to get it wrong in Italy at 15€/bottle- and... We stayed at B&B Casa Salto next door. Letizia, and Juan, owner of B&B and part owner of restaurant were extremely kind to us. The food at the restaurant is "real" food, the service excellent. I would definitely recommend the B&B and the restaurant.
