We ate here twice whilst on holiday. Absolutely wonderful location overlooking the lake with fantastic food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Anguillara Sabazia is a little hidden gem, a somewhat impoverished medieval town built on a hill overlooking Lago Bracciano, just a 45 minute train ride from Rome. Being largely unknown, it is tourist-free (and crowd-free), so in the middle of the summer is one of the few places in Italy you can actually have for yourself. La Nepitella is just... More

We visited this restaurant about 2 years ago for lunch. We decided to search it out. The waiter was exactly the same guy as last time. Same hair style - everything! The food was great. The ravioli with burro and sage is exceptional. The seafood is superb and the location wonderful! Great service!

We ate at a table on the lake as the sun was setting. Make a reservation ahead of time if you want to be lakeside as most of the tables were saved. Wonderful meal for a reasonable price. The location is the selling point for this restaurant. We did have a panhandler interrupt our dinner trying to sell bracelets but... More

Great food and service, right by Lake Bracciano. Recommended by B & B Domus Angularia (a wonderful B & B, by the way). The pasta was wonderful and the corregone was delicious, as well. Waive off the basket of bread and concentrate on the meal. The mother of the waiter makes mouthwatering desserts. A fantastic find!

We found this restaurant by chance on our last day in Italy. As 3:30 pm is a "dead hour" for restaurants, we thought we would go hungry - until we discovered this restaurant by the lake. We decided to sit in the small courtyard "tucked behind" in the piazza instead of eating at the tables by the lake as it... More

We ate here last night, you can eat next to the lake but it was too windy so we ate outside in the court yard, the restaurant is tucked away behind where the tables are set at the lakeside. The guy who owns it is really enthusiastic about his food, he can speak English and explained all about his menu.... More

Excellent home cooking with unusual receipes. Fish based cuisine. The pasta dishes were considered exceptional by all of our group. Service was very friendly and efficient. The waiter took time to explain all the items listed on the menu. The days "specials"are written a blackboard placed in front of the table while you decide. Tables are very close to the... More
