Terrific food and company

Beautiful old home restored into a tasteful dining establishment. In Old Town Malia, and a bit of a trick to find, but absolutely worth your efforts. Fortunately there are signs posted along the walkways. You must park outside the small cobblestone streets and walk your way into Kalesma. There you... read more

Set in the old town part of Malia, just down a side street, this wonderful place to eat, with great staff, and on odd occasions live music.

Went twice. First time the food was nice. Second time it wasn't great, to the point where we didn't bother going back as there's much better and more consistent restaurants in old town.

We came here in oct after looking at reviews, OMG amazing! Food amazing, service amazing, can't see why anyone would fault this restaurant. I'm vegan and I'm used to just trying to get anything to eat, but the young waiter heard me say I was vegan, and came over and sat with me and looked at what changes he could... More

We enjoyed our meal here and my partner wouldn't have any qualms about returning if we ever come back to Malia. It is a pretty restaurant with a balcony upstairs. The local wine is highly quaffable and the service is good. The only thing which seemed a little unusual for this part of Malia was that they offered no free... More

Had to wait 10mins for a drinks order in 30c heat. Kelftika was cold. When it came back out it was still cold and the side had gone colder. The musaka was dripping in fat with no taste no seasoning and not one aubergine in it. Terrible service DISGUSTING food.... Wine was watered down also If we had not been... More

Once again lead by recommendation , the restaurant was fairly busy so with no reservation we had to wait for a table -no problem we just ordered a bottle of house red while waiting. Which was a medium red and was great. The service was great faultless, once seated outside which was very hot we selected various Greek starters. We... More

Walking in the old town on my first night in Malia, I came across this quaint restaurant in the old town. The food was superb and the waiter very pleasant.
