I came here with my friends and I have to say, we visited four nights in a row and took part in some traditional greek plate smashing!

disgusting taste, even ice floated refused the wine, but later included in the bill. Required to remove, but the glass is still included. Dessert brought chopped watermelon rind, which they took with them, because kids wanted to sleep

This is a lovely taverna just near the port. It's always decorated with lots of lovely things to look at while you eat! The food is all freshly made and delicious beautifully served by the lovely Giannis. There's a good selection of starters or small dishes which are good at lunchtime. Worth a walk from the old town for us.

The restaurant is on the beach, with a good selection of meat and fish dishes Prices seemed average for Crete and as everywhere in the island portions are generous

Had a wonderful dinner with everything perfect, as well as one of the best house wines we tasted on Crete. My wife and I also tried the Meze for two which was amazing. 100% recommendation

We came here because of all the positive reviews. Overall, thouroughly unimpressed. Given a bread basket with no bread. Souvlaki served almost cold with no lemon. Had to ask for tzatziki and was served about a tablespoon of tasteless sauce in a plate. Tomato soup clearly made from powder with the consistency of water. Sent back and ordered chicken salad.... Throughout our time in malia, we have failed to find somewhere that has provided a meal as delightful as the one that we had in this restaurant. The exquisite food and great service has left us very happy, and the night overall has been fantastic because of this. We could not fault it! :)
