Good quality

Fresh good quality food. One billion extra points for gluten-free Calamari, and for the gluten free menu choices in general.

I can honestly say that I was served the best greek salad I have ever eaten! We went for lunch and then chose to go later in the week for evening meal. My father had the biggest sea bass that I have ever seen served! The owner is friendly and accommodating but seems to be a little stressed and describes... More

Friendliest and most accommodating people we've come across in Crete. Ioannis made the best Sangria-better tan the ones that we have tried in Spain(where we go often). The food is To die for. The place has great ambiance and we felt like we were "part of the family" whenever we ate there. Their toilets are super clean and has got... More

I loved everything about this place. The food is amazing, we went twice! Best place to have real Greek food in Malia.

a family run tavern with the most scrumptious homemade food to die for, went there 3 times during our visit with friends who live in sissi and each time we all had different meals and thoroughly enjoyed trying a bit from each plate, Yiannis is a great host also. loved the décor especially the pebbles painted yellow and blue, even... We found this Taverna by occasion on our way to Malia beach. It doesn't have any sea-view tables, as the sea is quite far, located on a small road, but there's no discomfort at all. Very quiet place with good atmosphere. The dishes are sometimes not 'standard', but really nice. We visited the Taverna two times, both were positive!

Family run small restaurant. Food freshly prepared and cooked so be prepared to wait a little longer for your meal to arrive. But well worth it. Great service. Good toilets!

Was on holiday here last year and found this beautiful little restaurant, vowed to come back and would not miss an opportunity to come back. Can't fault the food in any way!

I'm coming to the end now of a weeks stay in Malia. This will be my third time in Eva taverna so I thought I should take time to leave a review. Staff are incredibly friendly and the food is really really good. Eaten in all different places across Malia but this is hands down the best. Everyone makes you... More
