It was my first visit to Crete and first tavern we went to. I was very disappointed. Food was not tasty, we had at least 5 different dishes and non of them was what we found in all others restaurant. Oranges everywhere and made food taste different, odd i would say. Didn't like gentleman who was serving us, was not... More

Very disappointed! Being a Greek food lover, I was really annoyed to find an ORANGE added to practically every meal. It is not like I don’t like them but they do change the taste (or rather kill the taste) of fabulous Greek cuisine! I would not come back. P.S. Toilets were really good!

We visited this restaurant on many occasions mainly for liquid refreshments. On one occasion we had and evening meal, which was excellent. The menu is wide with a fantastic choice, we all went for the Greek food. The restaurant is family owned and all food is freshly prepared, cooked and served by them. A special mention should be made about the... More

From the top rate, home-styled Greek cuisine, to the friendly service and atmosphere, Taverna Eva is one of the finest restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. Being family owned, food, service, and atmosphere all have a personal feel that leaves nothing to be desired. So if you find yourself in Malia, head down to Taverna Eva, order... More

This restaurant had one of the most welcoming atmospheres I've ever experienced at a restaurant. It's a family owned greek restaurant with delicious food and a waiter who takes more pride in his work than any other person I have encountered. It's a beautiful place, and the food will leave you deeply satisfied every time. My friends and I went... More

The food, atmosphere, service, everything was great. It has great traditional Greek plates and some of the most friendly and helpful service. I recommend this place to everyone as a must eat in Malia especially the pork fillet and sole. Also the bathrooms were very nice. Overall this restaurant is amazing and very possible my favorite restaurant in the world.

disgusting taste, even ice floated refused the wine, but later included in the bill. Required to remove, but the glass is still included. Dessert brought chopped watermelon rind, which they took with them, because kids wanted to sleep
