Great location, lovely for a coffee but not a good restaurant

Couldn't be in a better location (beautiful central place and across from the Champollion museum) but the food was not interesting although they made an effort to add an exotic touch to the dishes. The service also was slow. I would recommend it only if other places are closed, which is why we... read more

We took our 4 grandchildren to this restaurant which is now called Aux of Arches and not 5 on arrival after booking we was told that it would be a 5 to 10 minutes wait bit the restaurant was empty which I thought straight away something was not good about it we was shown to our table and we had... We tried to have lunch at this restaurant, but unfortunately I knocked over a menu board while trying to put up the canopy. I only did this because we had been waiting for service for probably 15 minutes. I was already feeling awful for doing this and the manager/waiter compounded my guilt by being so miserable you would have thought... More

This had a burgers, fries and milkshake menu but was right beside our hotel so we tried it out. It was ok and it also had French food but it was interesting to try their version of American. The server was friendly, prices were ok, tried up selling but that was his job. Nothing great but nothing bad, either.

We arrived at Le 5 at around 10:15 p.m. The place was busy. At first, the waiter was slow coming and we waited 15 minutes to get served. It was worth the wait. We ordered Quercynoise Salad, burgers and duck confit. I tried everything and can affirm all our dishes were delicious. For dessert, we got the Café du Chef... More

We had a very pleasant meal outside on the terrace of the square. Nice food, good price, friendly service, all in all a very agreeable experience.

We attempted to eat at this restaurant at 1.30 - lunchtime. Despite there being empty tables we were told that there was at least a 20 minute wait. We sat on a nearby seat and waited. No-one sat at the vacant tables and when we enquired again 20 minutes later we were again told there would be a wait. Left... More

We found ourselves in Figeac in time for a late lunch and decided on this café because its menu seemed suited to our tastes and budget. The starter was nice although in retrospect they were probably prepared at some nearby bakery and the salad that was served as the main course was simply disappointing and hardly contained what was listed... In the main square and overlooking the museum. Pleasant service and good French food. Small menu (but that's a good thing in France) with food which is prepared after you order. Seafood was good too.

Very friendly, clean restaurant just off the market square in Figeac. Hosts a music evening on Thursdays with various local players. The food is always fresh and good value. A welcome break after "doing" the Saturday market.
