Small and friendly

Nice tapas style starters, and more interesting main courses than other restaurants we have tried in Pezenas. I had calamari which was cooked perfectly.

One of the best restsurants in Pezenas. Difficult to get a table in the most popular hours. Try the Calamaris. Excelent. Lots of good local vines. Not the lowest prices.

She had beef and I had rabbit both preceded by good salads. Both very nice. Yes a bit cramped but I feel that it adds to the atmosphere. What a pity that as with most places in France the kitchen closes just after 2.00. The late lunch has yet to hit France.

Good waitress. Food good, but as is usual you are tightly fitted in to the area available. Can recommend the medley of fish. Reasonable price.

We ate here twice because the food was so good. We had mixed seafood tapas which was fresh and very tasty. The staff were really friendly and the restaurant was busy with a great atmosphere.

A return visit and the waitress remembered us from a year before, even recalled where we sat. As a group of four we had tender lamb, full of flavour and lovely fresh tuna, moist and lightly cooked. This is all served simply with potato, salad and a spicy tomato compote. The service is relaxed and low-key but that suits us.... More

Beware la Mamita! Looks OK from the outside, and tapas are hard to find in Pezenas, but this was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. The seafood on the tapas menu was cold, dry and using the same bland sauce, the only good food was the chorizo/manchego/serrano that the chef had no hand in making, and the... More

The food was not good, greasy and the oil smelled. The portions were miniscule and the staff absolutely stressed out and noisy.

My children and I ate here....sans reservation. We lucked out and got a nice table overlooking the walkway between the two dining rooms (great people watching). The Spanish take on the dishes was very good. Everything was fresh. a little limited on the wine offerings- and children's menu was just one item...but otherwise a great evening! We enjoyed Mamita.
