We'd been walking all day through the back blocks of Burgundy and literally walked past this house among the vineyards in the mood for a late lunch. There's nothing much else around except farms land and vines. Imagine our surprise to find them open, still taking orders and then delivering superb food and wine at very affordable prices (about half... More

We went twice, because the quality of its regional and freshly prepared food was outstanding. Both lunches - menu de jour - that we ate there were of superb local food and tremendous value for money, so it's worth the effort to find your way there. Situated in the hamlet of Concoeur-Corboin, it could be tricky to find. However, it... More

We found this restaurant through tripadvisor while staying over in Agencourt on our way to the south of France. It is located several kilometers outside the center of Nuits-saint-Georges (D109), good accessible by car. The interior of the restaurant and the small terrace is nothing special. The menu offers regional French food. We had a starter (salad, pate), main dish... More

In a trip around Bourgogne, nobody should ever, EVER miss the lovely town of Nuits Saint Georges (and we've been staying two nights in N.S.G. only after an unexpected misunderstanding... good luck for us!). Worth for the ancient "bourg" and for the excellence of wine. Situated around 5-10 Km out of the center, Le Relais of Grepissot definitely deserves a... More

Came across this restaurant during the Fete de Cassis and decided to try it as it was pouring with rain. How glad we were! Decided against the menu du jour as we wanted a lighter lunch and had superb salads for around 10 euros each. Mainly locals and families here but we were made to feel very welcome. Very enjoyable.

After tasting some wine in Vosne-Romanée, it was suggested we would find a good place to eat on the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. With only the vaguest of directions, we found our way to Le Relais du Grepissot. The menu du jour was 13 euros, including starter, main course, cheese, dessert and coffee, plus wine. The food was delicious and... More

Was taken here on a Burgundy day tour. Great little restaurant which would be very hard to find. Mainly local friends and families having lunch together - most going for the 4 course Menu du Jour for €14. We all wanted something less substantial and went a la carte for still less than €20 per head. Great alternative to the... More

In a region with an abundance of options, I wouldn't go again. After driving down dark, curvy back roads to the middle of nowhere, we arrived at a modern-looking building with a parking lot. Inside the place was starkly lit and really void of character AND characters, as we were the only patrons except for what seemed to be the... More

We travelled with another couple at the end of April staying at Le Gentilhommiere (not sure that's spelt right!) in Nuit St George. The food there was lovely, but too rich to eat there every night so we wanted an alternative. After the use of google for restaurants in Nuit St George, we found this one. As mentioned in other... Out of the way, small, simple place, an annex to a centuries-old farmhouse. Went for Saturday lunch and met all expectations, food, service and price/quality ratio! Mainly locals there, including a family of 25, celebrating an anniversary. Difficult to find, even with a gps. Go to small, small village of Concoeur and turn downhill about 150 meters. Don't be afraid... More
