Decent, tasty cypriot food

At the Vineleaf you can really enjoy good tasty cypriot food sitting under a heaven of wine grapes. Average food around €80 with 1/2 carafe of house white for a family of four adults. Entertainment is worth watching with Cypriot and Greek dancing with some audience participation.

Lunchtime on a hot day in July, what's better than a seafood platter (prawns, soft shell crab, calamari, octopus, squid, mussels) with salad, dips olives and bread - all washed down with a cold bottle of local white wine. Not only delicious but cheap too. With coffee €35 for two.

We had a perfectly enjoyable meal here and the staff were friendly. It is hard to work out why, but it isn't great. The food doesn't match that of Yialos or Kastro so maybe I expect too much. Would happily return though.

The Cyprus night is good fun, hats off to the performers doing what they do in the heat, it was impressive stuff and I recommend that you watch them because we had fun. The food however was average, We had the meat meze, which was very underwhelming, a bit of ham with some grilled halloumi on top for one dish,... More

We had read that the Vine Leaf Tavern in Pissouri was a place to visit and we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and his assistant who made sure that we were made aware of the delights available on the menu. We both settled on the calamari as a starter and their famous fish and chips... More

Loved this place. Food was great. Nice atmosphere. Just a lovely traditional Cypriot taverna with local typically Cypriot food.

This was the first restaurant we visited on our 2015 holiday Cypriot people frequent here, always a good sign when local people like the food. The local food is to die for. We'd recommend it to anybody Service is excellent as well!

We had never been to Cyprus before but have been multiple times to the Greek islands over the years so were not sure what to expect. What we got was a sense that the Cypriot people are fantastic, warm, hospitable and exceptionally hard working, what more can you expect. The Vine Leaf is without exception, a must if you’re in...
