Best Restaurant in Dumaguete - We Love It!!! Filipino-French Type Food

Located on the famous Dumaguete ocean walk Boulevard, this combination restaurant and adjoining cafe is the best restaurant we have been to in the Philippine and it only had low to mid-ranges prices. The food is a Filipino-French western style cooking. We ate here every third day for six months... read more

It started as a cakeshop specializing in sans rival and silvana but it has now expanded into a bistro serving lunch and dinner and with a branch at Robinson's Plaza. They have kept the old bakeshop on a side street off The Boulevard and set up the Bistro in the adjoining building, s bigger space and with a patio facing... More

Bought 20 boxes of Butter Silvanas and Chocolate Silvanas when I visited Dumaguete two days ago.. All of my friends loves my pasalubong to them and asking for more!!! My only concern about the restaurant itself is the service of the staffs. I supposed to pick up my boxes of Silvanas at 13:00 next day before my flight to Manila... More

Dropping by Dumaguete, never miss the original Sans Rival & Sylvanas. Many have tried, but many have failed too. You can only find this taste in Dumaguete, and Dumaguete City alone! Enjoy & have fun while you relax!

I couldn't drink the espresso, it was really a bad coffee. Cakes are dry and tasteless. But its quite cheap, that's why there is so many guests...

The food is big factor why people visit the place. Aside from the Sans Rival, the Brownies are to die for. The only thing I would suggest is for them to add more staff to avoid long lines and wait

If you are looking for that "pasalubong" coming from Dumaguete, then look no more. When i was here i bought 15 boxes of the butter flavored ones and 5 boxes for the chocolate flavored ones. None was left when i arrived in manila and they were asking for more. A must try in their bistro place is the onion soup!... More

When you go to Dumaguete, of course everyone will tell you to visit Sans Rival and buy the infamous silvanas for pasalubong. So we tried because it was the boyfriend's bday but I couldn't find a good birthday cake from the selection. Pastries displayed in baskets looked tastier than the ones behind the glass. Lotsa customers that it takes a... More

Really good prices for their brewed coffees and food. Their signature desserts like the Sans Rival Cake and Sylvanas (comes in two flavors: butter and chocolate) cannot be missed! Not too sweet and perfect blend of the cream and the crunchy biscuit-like layers. Notably the souvenir delicacies local Filipino tourists take back home.
