Do not go out of your way

First things first Dumaguete does not have a lot of choice, so you may very well end up here, just manage your expectations! We gave them three goes to get it right, they struck out on all counts. Has great cakes and is friendly, good place to dine or just stop for espresso and meet friends, very friendly atmosphere and great views of the bay.

A must place to visit while in Dumaguete, their silvana is a must. Their staff is also accommodating and the place is good. The branch in Robinson is recommended to avoid the long waiting line in their branch at Rizal boulevard. There is nothing I dislike about this palce.

Silvanas and walnut cake! Pasta is above average... Lunch with 2 choice packs: pork with soup or chicken/fish with salad...

They have very good cakes and pastries at reasonable prices, I had coffee and cakes for breakfast almost every day there. Try different ones until you find your favourite, well worth it

The name means "without peers" and this place sure lives up to that reputation! Been there three times already and tried an assortment of cakes and everything so far has been absolutely delicious. And so inexpensive that you can afford to indulge! I mean, most single servings of cakes are between 0.40$ and 0.75$. Which means that you can basically... More

If you are in Dumaguete do pop in for delicious Silvanas. Two kinds: plain and chocolate. Customer service was fine, but don't expect smiles not even eye contact when ordering. Bistro next door serves OK food but it felt slightly snobby and trying too hard for what it was.

After an exhausting trip, walking around the city and if you have gone to Apo Island and their cold springs, I recommend this place before you go back to where you from. A must bring pasalubong is their SILVANAS. Hint: Chocolate Flavor is delicious!!!!!!
