Hayahay was quite far away from the city, it's situated past Silliman University and Dumaguete Port but gettiny there is easy since locals and pedicab drivers know the place very well. I tried their Baked Talaba for only 145 php with 10 pcs., They have a small viewing deck and mini-bar on top which could seat atleast 30 guests or... More

This is our second trip to Hayahay and it didn't disappoint! The lechon kawali is amazing. You might need to order more than one plate of this. All the dishes we had were great and the view of the bay provides lots of things to talk about. This is a must do if you're anywhere near Dumaguete!

Been many times and enjoy the local speciality food and seafoods. Can get busy on weekends and in season to might be worth booking.

The Bar is great, the music is good, the food is cheap and plentiful (somewhat heavy). The drinks are a little bit watered down (the pina colada was 75% ice) and the staff needs to be reminded that the party of 8 will be using 8 glasses to drink and not one, despite all of these shortcomings I highly recommend... Very famous restobar in Dumaguete, just along Rizal Boulevard. Ambiance: Casual dining, al fresco, with a live band playing (it was a weekend, I am not sure if they play during weekdays, though) Food: very fresh seafoods (should be! ),with for-sharing serving portions. Service: We dined during their busy hours in the evening so there was a bit of delay... More

We came here for after dinner entertainment and drinks and ordered a huge serving of oysters and mussels which were both fresh and baked! Both tasted really fresh and they were perfect with the local San Miguel Beer. It costs very cheap and the music was great too! Well worth it!

If you love seafood, you love this place! Especially oysters were so cheap and so good!!! One of us took pizza called hot mamma or something and it was really worth of its name. If you love chili and pizza, try that!

Hayahay always pleases. Cold beer and tasty seafood. Ordered Sushi Platter #1 and shrimp tempura from Taco Surf, kinilaw (a local, vinegar-based ceviche), baked oysters from Hayahay. An ample meal for four. The outdoor seating is always fun (if infused with the meat-grill smokiness). The food is great.
