Food is alright but service was quick!!

Food is alright but service was quick. Heard a lot about Chotiwala but did not live upto expectations since one of the Dal which was served was a bit cold and tasted weird however the staff was helpful and service was quick, tables could have been cleaned properly.

Chotiwala has now become a name only of historic value. Asli nakli Deluxe...etc Chotiwala have cropped up. I went to the "Actual Pracheen Chotiwala" inside the Gully. The food was below standard. The Kadhi was awful. The Dal Makhani was tasteless. The rotis were also not well baked. The Tea and the Cream Bell Sach Much Aam Ice Cream (for... More

Wanna try typical North Indian cuisine... Then you're at the best place in Haridwar... Prices are not so high and taste is good to enjoy a value meal..

The place is surrounded in not so clean surroundings. I had visited this after about 20 years now. The authentic flavors were missing and the modernity is infusing into the menus too. I request the owners to revert back to the original cuisine and maintain the sanctity of their tradition.

This is a dilemma for all domestic and international tourists. The name "Chotiwala" is carried out by several restaurants.Near the main bathing ghat of Haridwar you will find the older one for people who don't focus more on the ambience but purely on the taste aspect which has come down. And for a good mix of taste as well as... More

We had our lunch at Chotiwala, Haridwar. The food was hot and great. It has enough space and the food is ready all the time.

The quality of food was found to be wanting. The attitude of staff was just commercial. The surroundings are not clean.

Food is just average, don't get hyped by the name, Prices are on the high but food quality is just average, it is no where what the same name serves in Rishikesh. We had pees pulav & it was pathetic. Bhindi Masala & dal was good. Overall lots of better place to have food, so easy to avoid.
