We stayed at the neighboring place Domokucku. The food here was fresh, tasty and sumptuous. We had the restaurant to ourselves, the staff were friendly and helpful. Do try the mango and ginger juice made fresh in front of you. 1 of the most delicious fresh juices I have had. A must visit if you are staying in Paje. Oh... More

We ate here twice whilst staying at a nearby hotel. The restaurant was simple and open to the incredible beach, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. Seafood was really tasty and swahili style wraps. Service was laid back and friendly. Not as cheaper as some other places in Zanzibar but worth it for the well presented food... More

prior to our arrival I read the reviews about this restaurant. This is truly an amazing restaurant. the food is fresh and tasty from the menu and special dishes from the Chefs. The juices are from fresh fruit, like all places on the island, but has a little extra ingredient or two to push it to that that level of... More

For my family is eating at Kilima always one of the highlight of our vacation at Zanzibar. Despite Kilima was burn down the restaurant and bar is up and running and definitely one of the best on the beach. Either cocktails or food is made with passion and really tasty and from fresh ingredients so some time they have not... More

Best piñacolada on Zanzibar (and not only there)! A very nice barman. - talkative, but discreet. Very nice massage, too.

We enjoyed a very nice evening at this restaurant with a huge and delicious meal (very fresh fish). The staff was nice and the atmosphere relaxing with nice music, candles (when the lights turn off for some time in the evening) and the sound of the waves only meters away. We also had a nice chat with the hotel/restaurant owner... More

The menu is a guide. Feel free to ask for anything that might be concocted from the available ingredients, for example, instead of the crusted fish, get crusted chicken. Ask for more veggies. The cook is talented, so the outcome will be delicious.

I'm only writing this review in defence of a previous review which mentioned the need to change the menu due to a few inaccuracies. The menu states that the chicken dishes are 'half a chicken' but this is not the case. If a restaurant chooses to be so pedantic as to state the amount in grams for meat or fish... More

I stayed next door and ate here nearly everday for either lunch or dinner. The food is fresh and delicious. The coconut chicken chapatti was the best thing I ate all holiday. The staff are friendly, and attentive. Can't recommend enough.
